A Fine/Old Korean Landscape Painting with Two Scholars (山水人物圖) -19th C. : Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century, anonymous artist. Painted with a deep mountain and two scholars enjoying a nature, and in ink and light color on paper. It’s fair condition with some retouches and small part of upper left repaired, it measures 40cm x 29.5cm painting only, or 51cm x 41cm overall.

Interesting blackstone seal with low loop handle and a carving of XXX inside linedecoration, Mesopotamian, late Ubaid period (5500-3700 BC).

Oberlánder dates this seal to the 3rd. millenium BC, we're certain that it's a much earlier and made in the later Ubaid period (5500-3700 BC).

Two small Japanese porcelain dishes used for small side servings or morsels - both decorated with blue underglaze and polychrome overglaze enamels. One with asymmetric floral decoration and gilt foliate rim and spurious Chenghua mark inside the foot. The other octagonal with dragon decoration in the cavetto surrounded by flowering karakusa enclosed within alternating red and blue panels and the verso with geometric patterns...

Cast bronze vase of square shape. Beautiful casting and fine detailed chasing. Taotie mask decoration. The handles in the shape of birds'heads Fine finish. Archaic style but Qing period. Good condition. Nice old patina. Height: 41cm Weight: 7,5kg

Maekake (apron) made of Ohmi jofu which is hand-woven of hemp with kasuri pattern. Weft kasuri yarns are clamp-board dye, so that it has bar-code like white lines in both selvedges. In excellent condition except for both white cotton belts have dirt. Late 19th to early 20th century. W:66cm, L73cm

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. Both pieces have the first quality crossed swords markings under glaze. The saucer is 4 1/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches The cup has a split branch handle. The borders are slightly scalloped with points at intervals. These flowers are beautifully hand painted with a unique variation. The stems and leaves are done in gold leaf...

Porcelain sardine box with a handle in the form of a realistically-painted sardine. The sides and lid of the box are decorated with pink roses. The bottom is marked "Victoria Austria."

Origin: Altrohlau, Bohemia, Austria (now Stara Role, Czech Republic), ca. 1891-1918. Condition: excellent, slight wear to gilding along edges of the lid. Size: 5-1/4" x 4-1/2" x 3".

Chinese tang dynasty Changsha large bowl. 20 cm diameter. Good condition, free from any repair ,crack or chipped. has some degradation glaze (please see on the picture).

This antique pair of earrings are from the Miao Chinese Ethnic minority. For me the shape and thick "wires" add to the design of the earring...some groups of the Miao purposely expanded the size of the ear lobe holes to accomadate... I prefer to keep things in their original condition. I have used these in my "favorites" display case... the earring spann 2 inches x 2 inches x .5 inches. Assumbed to be low grade silver which was typically used in old China...

Ancient Egyptian large black-topped Redware Vase, pre-Dynastic Naqada I period, c. 3750 BC. It's intact but shows signs of use, especially inside, from contents being stirred. It is 10" (25.4 cm) tall. It is authentic and nearly 6,000 years old.

A lobed dinner plate with dentil gilt rim, the lip with a garland of flowers and leaves twined around a thick gold band and the center of the well with a large spray of roses surrounded by smaller sprays of flowers. Diameter 9 ½ inches (24 cm). The mark in underglaze blue on the back is the crossed torches of Locre, sometimes called La Courtille. The factory was active from 1773 to 1824...

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer, or KPM, in 1911. The impressed date letter indicates this year. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter. It has a 1 1/2 inch border of the most delicate reticulated work. It has the appearance of the finest lace. The pattern of lattice work and flowers is outlined in gold. The center of the plate is hand painted with a scene of lovers in the woods. A young farm boy has just come upon a sleeping beauty...

A Chinese Blue White Bowl, 18th Century. Diameter approximately 9.5 cm. In good condition.

A very early pair of child's shoes hand sewn and pegged and nailed. The shoes are fragile but one is much better than the other. They are early enough that the soles are identical with no difference in right and left shoe. They are 6" long and 3 1/2" tall. circa 1830. These early shoes are hard to find and look wonderful with a textile collection.
