Small altar ("zushi" in Japanese) made of wood, lacquered in black outside, gilt inside. The locking system as well as the hinges are made of beautifully decorated bronze. The altar contains a gilt wood statue of Buddha sitting cross-legged in meditation posture on an elevated throne backed by an aureola. Japan, 19th century. Total height: 8" (20,5 cm). Flaked lacquer at the base, otherwise very good condition.

Chinese slab of jade, carved with an indented circular and a mokko (melon) shape into its surface. It is meant to be used by a calligraphy artist for the grinding and collecting of ink. 18th/19th century Size: 1/4" thickness, 3.75" height, 1 and 5/8" width

A thinly potted bowl with a carved decoration and glazed with an nice pale blue Qingbai glaze. Northern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ) There is an old Chinese inscription to the unglazed base. Diameter : 15,8 cm. H : 4,9 cm. Condition : One old, very small chip resp. frit to the rim. Further in perfect condition with an nice "ping" tone when tapped.

A Yuan dynasty qingbai bluish white glaze large vase, size 20cm height, good condition.

A nice challenge for each restorer. Early Ming Dynasty Zhengtong period ( 1436 - 49 ) blue and white dish with a extraordinary nice and rich decoration. The old unprofessional gluings can be open again trough to cook in water. D : 20 cm.

Beautifully detailed spelter lamp of a school boy dressed in knickers and a cape, holding his book under his arm. The whole lamp stands 41" tall with an 8" diameter on the base. The figure of the boy, without the base or the font, stands 20 1/2" tall. There is a small chip on the top rim of the shade, but everything else is in perfect condition. This is one of the nicest lamps of its kind that I've had.

A rare Tang dynasty Changsha ewer decorated with molded figure and kilin motive. conditions : view chipped at the mout rim and glaze degradations. On restorations ( Please see on last picture before restorations). 20,5 cm high.

A lovely Kangxi period famille verte bowl and saucer dish set, decorated with truly fresh and vibrant enamels, and tightly painted with seasonal flowers and two pheasants perched on top rockwork...

This is a Austrian rural style chest, a so called carved " Bauerntruhe " from Styria. Softwood ( pine needle wood ) This piece from about 1750 originaly was only to open from upwards. To make this nice piece more useable for everydays use, there recentely was made 2 doors into the front side of the chest. These 2 doors are not visible, when they are closed. Nice restored condition ! H : 33,5 inc. L : 55,5 inc. Deep : 21,5 inc.

A really extremely nice and decorative white glazed Jar. Well potted porcelain body with a very delicate molded decoration and four lugs, covered with a very nice clean-white glaze. H : 9,9 cm. Diameter : 9,8 cm. Condition : There is a filled hole in the bottom, further this piece is in a really excellent condition - not the smallest crack or chip, even all four lugs are in perect condition, which is rare to find.

This is another carved Pinzgauer armoire, this piece is from near Goldegg in the Pinzgau valley. This softwood ( pine needle wood ) piece is made in the Baroquian style, it also dates at about 1740 . Very nice restored condition ! H : 73 inc. B : 49,5 inc. Deep : 26 inc.

An exceptionally rare turquoise-glazed porcelain vase or flask made in the Jingdezhen kilns, Jiangxi province,China, during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). The neck is decorated with upright plantain leaves, each shoulder with styalized lotus scroll design and applied buddhistic lion head. The central panels front and back feature the Hehe Erxian - the twin Immortals of Union and Harmony - one holding a basket from which has been released a bat, in flight amongst clouds...

An antique Chinese long table carved with motif of scrolling clouds and a type of fungus knowns as Lingzhi, an auspicious motif and an actual fungus used in Chinese medicine.
