This late 19th C. or early 20th C. carved hard stone water bowl for painters or scholars is about 2 inches high, 5 ½ inches long and 4 ¾ inches wide. The water bowl is carved as a double plum blossom; a lucky bat, two smaller blossoms and leaf are on the side. The lucky bat and plum blossom represent bravery, strength and longevity in Chinese culture. The workmanship is simple and elegant. It is in excellent condition.

A fine Chinese bronze hu applied with ten mask and loose ring handles on a ground of dense geometric pattern. Ming dynasty, 16th/17th century. 33cms. Good condition.

Rare water-pot,dropper? (too little for wine and not covered for tea) for schollar in Sancai enameled porcelain, Kangxi period. Fruit-shaped, appears to be a pomegranate, with stem leaves and flower. The flower is admirably made with thin petals like paper which is daring, miraculously none is missing, however, looking with a magnifying glass we can see on the edges of small gaps that we can guess or imagine on photo but it is not obvious because the petals are naturally jagged...

Broken shards of these crab plates have been found on the Island in Cebu in the Philippines, and are determined to be of the Zhangzhou type (formerly called Swatow wares). This lovely crab dish is from the Spanish porcelain trade that was exported from China to South East Asia. I am not absolutely certain of its exact age, but can guarantee that it is at least 150 years old. Measuring 6.75" in diameter, it is in perfect antique condition, no chips, hairlines or repair.

Chinese late Qing to early Repubic period muted iron red and black lacquered provincial wood chest or cabinet painted with gold bamboo and flowers. The interior is embellished with red flowers on black lacquer. Two sets of double-doors each open to reveal a drawer and an open storage area. A panel below the open area slides up to reveal a hidden storage compartment at the bottom. The chest appears to have the original distressed lacquer finish and hardware...

An early decorative temple carving of a Taoist deity seated on a donkey, painted in white, black, red and gold, Late Ming-early Qing dynasty, c. 16th.-17th. century.

Antique Chinese purple hued agate censor. The base and lid are carved with a scrolling foliate design on two oblong registers. The base has bird-like head handles with loose rings. The censor has scrolling foliate handles with loose rings. The top has simple vine like handles with loose rings. The lid is topped with a dragon. The agate has natural white and yellow/brown inclusions. It measures 15.5" tall, the base measures 8" tall, the top 7.75" tall.

Chinese monochrome porcelain water coupe, with a round body and flattened foot. The red mottled peach bloom underglaze transitions to white around the short neck and flares slightly. The recessed foot with six character Kangxi mark in cobalt blue.

This is an elegant bluish white Jun yao jar that come with its original cover, in very nice form and built, it is with the purple splashes on one side of the jar and some on its cover to add to its' beauty as one of the best chinese classical ware since Sung Dynasty, the bluish white of he moon colour give us amusement and feelings that make us wonder how the potter make it in those by-gone era with such wonder glaze and technology of that time. Chinese small hardwood folding screen with hard stone panels, hand-painted front to back with scenes of immortals, scholars, and nature scenes with calligraphy inscriptions and red chops.

Long temple banner, also called "bridge painting" hand painted on paper representing Taoist deities in all sorts of situations. A stick is affixed on both ends. China, mid 19th century, Yao ethnic group, south-west China. Length: 4.12 m. A few restorations and losses, otherwise good condition.

A finely carved brush pot (bitong) decorated with ‘fu’ characters for good luck in raised, low relief, all done in different type of script. Good, dark honey color. H. 14 cm D. 9,5 cm. Qing, second part of 19th cent. Condition: Excellent. Minor traces of wear.

A high quality laquered and gilt bronze figure of Buddha with a crown of Buddhas on top of his head and exceptional sculptured and engraved detailos to his robe and the Lotus Throne. Swastika symbol on his chest. The buddha is laquered and gilt with much old gilt still preserved.

A large celadon bowl with well balance potted, decorated with engraved incised floral sprays. Song/Yuan Dynasty possibly Yaozhou ware found at Indonesia archipelago. Condition is very good, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration, except minor black spots to the interior and exterior. Diameter: 21,5 cm and Height: 7,8 cm.

A rare sample of Yuan dynasty longquan celadon huge bowl, rounded side with deep center and unglazed foot ring, dish decorated with flower motif on the center and vertical ribbing at inner wall suggesting flower petal motif, covered with good green glaze.
Bowl is broken into several pieces as it found and re-struck, newly excavated from trowulan east java, very good for any one who interested into studying early Chinese porcelain.

Perfect potted Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Period ( 1723 - 1735 ) bowl with a very nice enamel and gilded decoration. Diameter : 7,6 cm. H : 4,2 cm. Condition : The body cracked, the glaze and the enamels in a excellent condition.

A rare early Ming 15th century Xuande - Interregnum period blue and white large stem bowl, outer wall with under glaze blue human (official) and landscape motif, inner center with sitting official motif, good condition with small damage at the rim and associate hairline restored, size: 16.5 cm diameter, 10 cm height.

An unusual and charming votive image of carved wood depicting Guanyin seated in her grotto on Putuo Island with the secondary figures, the Dragon Maiden and Sudhana attending her on either side. Above a small grotto with the seated image of a Buddha and flanking it on both sides are the four popular companions from the Journey to the West (Xiyou ji), the monk Xuanzang, Sandy, Pigsy and Monkey. In the water below a pair of nagas and a large fish...

This jade (nephrite) carving of a reclining water buffalo and boy is 2 ¼” high, 3” wide and 2 3/8” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It depicts a young boy holding peach branches trying to climb a reclining water buffalo. Aside from some natural blemishes on the bottom, it is in great condition.

Here is another stunning chawan, a Nogime (hare's fur) Tenmoku tea bowl from the Jian Kilns - made in the Southern Song era (Chinese: 南宋; 1127–1279). Such tea bowls were one of the first tea bowls in Japan, which came together with the first tea from China.
