An incense cylinder was carved by excellent craftsmanship.
Depicting the casual scene of a court lady reading a scroll under a pine tree while a attendant boy hidden behind the trunk reaching his head out by curiosity, the craftsman maneuvered his fine and affluent carving skill to make the picture as much detailed and pleasant as well.
The cylinder was carved in deep relief and was pierced through in some portions to allow the incense smoke to swirl out.

This is an awesome Gunto Imperial Japan Military Katana Sword in Black Koshirae fitting, made during the Showa period (1926-1989), by the Gunto swordsmith KANEHARU 兼玄: (Index of Japanese Swordsmiths by Markus Sesko), from the Seki School (Modern Japanese Swords and Swordsmiths, by Leon and Hiropo Kapp). A Chinese Bronze Censer, Qing Dynasty. Diameter approximately 14.6 cm (across handles), height approximately 10.6 cm, the weight of the censer 1100 gram and 520 gram for the stand. The censer has been polished and has few of scratches at the body. Normal age wear. Good condition.
On offer is this unique and wonderful hand painted Japanese tea bowl from the end of the 19th. century ( Meiji Period ).
The colours of this antique tea bowl are amazing. There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs, best condition.
There is a sign of the artist, but i was unable to identify him.
You will not find a similar tea bowl. This style is definitely rare.
