A matching set of 10 Imari porcelain bowls with panels of birds and cranes surrounded by a brocade border. There is a blue and white peach design in the center interior with gold highlights, and a blue marking on the bottom. The bowls measure 2" high and 6" in diameter. The bowls date to the Meiji period, Circa 1880. Condition: The condition of all bowls is excellent with some small kiln flaws, and the gold covered edges show some rubbing. Antique Japanese gold lacquer inro with a scene of a waterfall on one side and a sage on the other. The water crashes around rocks where chrysanthemums blossom. On the reverse, a sage sits among the flowers at the base of the falls. The inro case has 4 compartments with interiors covered in a dense nashiji lacquer. The ojime is made of red lacquer and is carved with a dragon. The netsuke is made of boxwood and carved in the shape of a seed pod...

Southern Song period ( 1127 - 1279 ) Zhejiang province. Extremaly rare small cup with a superb quality opaque glaze. The exposed clay to the base turned reddish during the fiering prozess. Unfortunately the enclosed images are not able to show how amazing this piece is. Diameter : 4,6 cm. H : 2,7 cm. Condition : Amazing glaze, no chip but there is a unbelievable slight short hairline which is only to see with a 10 X lens.

Mesa Verde Black on White Very large Oval pouring bowl 1050 to 1150 ad., it has no restoration. It is a large 5-1/2"high X 11"long X 8-1/2"wide. It is broken and re-glued, it is missing a couple shards per pictures. I acquired this in a trade with a friend. All my items are guaranteed to be authentic and as described.

A small Chinese porcelain dish with Qingbai light blue-green crackle glaze and very thin form. The foliate edges of the dish are made to look like the petals of a flower, and the interior and exterior body are incised and slightly lobed for each petal. Rare Chinese Warring States Covered Pottery Stem Jar (475 - 221 BC)

This attractively-shaped pottery vessel with its flared foot and pear-shaped body was made during the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). It is "heavily-potted", made from a fine-grained grey pottery and has a smooth burnished surface. Although not immediately obvious, the outer wall of the cover has been lightly decorated with thin lightly incised or polished bands.

Antique Vietnamese silver and copper inlay bronze censer incense burner with stand, 19th century, Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam.

A compressed bulbous body raised on three short cabriole legs rising to a waisted neck under a galleried rim.

The exterior is inlaid with silver wire with three figures of peasants in the field carrying garden tools, and silver inlaid bands of bamboo branches separate the figures.

A large and powerful polychromed wooden carving of a Chinese demonic altar guardian figure, possibly Shun-Feng Erh, dating to the 17th century. Multiple coats of polychrome confirm the piece's great age. Intact, with, most probably, a reattached break in the figure's sash, visible in the photos. A full exposition of the role played by similar figures can be found in Arts of Asia, September-October 1998, "Demonic Images on Chinese Altars." The piece stands just over 16 inches in height...
