17th Century Vajravarahi Tibetan Thangka. Fine Antique Tibetan Thangka of the Sakti of Samvara, Vajravarahi (Tibetan: Hod-zer Chan-ma), Goddess of War and Victory, with a necklace of skulls, a staff of skulls, a skull bowl, and a crown of skulls. She is dancing on a lifeless body surrounded by a mandorla of flames. Most of these thangka were photographed through glass frames, so there may be a little blurriness. This thankga was in an exhibition at the University of Texas Art Museum...

Kho Noi kiln is one of the Si Satcharanai kilns. This kiln had been making appliances for the loyal family of Skhothai kingdom and the works are very sophisticated among the Sawanakhalok kilns. The color of celadon is very refreshing green and comparable to Chinese one. This piece is stored by a famous collector in Japan with wooden box. There are some small chips at the bottom fringe. Well cast Japanese Edo period round-form bronze kagami (mirror) decorated in relief with a motif of cranes among pines. The perforated central boss, which is designed to hold a tassel, is in the form of a minogame (tortoise). Two cranes reach toward each other with their beaks to kiss the head of the tortoise. Marked "Tenka" (all under Heaven) at the lower right. This decorative motif has been attributed to the Momoyama period (16th/17th century)...

A rare Yuan dynasty blue and white square jar, jar decorated with under glaze blue of flower motif at each side (chrysanthemum, lotus, peony, Indian lotus). at the top there is two dragon motif around the rim, unglazed base.
Jar is in good condition with minor crackled at glaze surface, very small chip at the dragon motif, no restoration, good Persian blue color.
Size: 6.5 cm height.

A good Song - Yuan dynasty longquan celadon large dish with twin fish motif, rounded side with flattened rim and glazed base, dish decorated with rare and clear large twin fish motif at the center and raising lotus petal motif at exterior, dish covered with good green glaze.
Dish is in good condition no crack, no chip, no restoration, porcelain with high ping sound with finger tip.
Size: 22 cm diameter.

Zushi, shrine used in Buddhist temples, containing a statue of Aizen Myoo. He sits on his typical lotus throne carried by a vase full of jewels, surrounded by a circular, red, flaming nimbus. He has six arms and on his head he wears a crown in the shape of a lion’s head flanked by two gilded sharito reliquaries. In his lower hands Aizen holds a ghanta and a bell, the secondary hands hold arrows and formerly held a bow, the upper pair of hands used to hold probably a rope and a jewel...

Antique Chinese hanging scroll of a "Courtesan Playing the Flute" signed Qiu Ying. This painting is of two courtesans waiting to entertain the emperor. The emperor would be seated in front of a screen of dragons. The empress would be seated in front of a scene with phoenixes. The courtesan on the right plays the flute while the courtesan on the left holds a fan. The skill of Qui Ying can be seen in the rendering of the sheer quality of the fan, the courtesan's sleeve is visible behind it...

Late ming blue and white large bowl decorated with Dragon and Phoenix at outer wall and flying fish at the center.21,5cm diameter.9,5cm high. Good conditions, just found glaze fritting at the rim.no hair lines and free from any restoratons.

A fine Chinese late 19th century ivory card case featuring an intricately carved garden setting with figures and pavilions on a pierced background. It is in excellent condition save for a very small break/loss that is almost invisible when the case is closed, see last 3 photos. Otherwise, no cracks, no repairs, etc. Measures 4.5" high, 3" wide.

A cheerful Japanese Arita "Imari" bowl with a spotted lion dog looking at a waterfall. This scene is repeated in 3 cartouches surrounding the bowl's exterior. Enameled with vivid palette of colors, it is in very good original condition. No repairs, hairline, etc. Spurious Chinese mark on bottom reads "Greatest Ming Chenghua Make". Measures 7.75 Inches in diameter by 3.75" high.

This is Mutton-Fat White Jade Snuf Bottle of flattened, upright rectangular form with rounded, sloping shoulders, rounded neck, with a raised elongated oval footing. Undecorated, but, perfectly polished, and sporting a wonderful symmetry all around, and an even, near-flawless bright tone all throughout. Well-hollowed. It comes with a green jadeite flattened stopper. Its style is common of snuff bottles produced during the early 19th century...

Japanese hair comb decorated with a pair of love birds, Oshidori (Mandarin ducks) perched on a plum tree, raised gold makie with silver, kirikin and shells. The theme here is auspicious. We counted 33 teeth in 3 cm, amazingly skillful hand work. Excellent condition - actual color loss in the center area of wooden teeth is not so obvious as shown in the photos. Circa, Meiji period (1868-1912) Dimensions: 3 1/4" x 1 1/8"
