This is an amazing bronze dagger from the ancient middle East - probably Northern Iran. It has a very heavy, wide blade with a prominent midrib. The tang is a typical, square, rat-tail style. The patina is a mix of light green and brown typical to pieces from that region. The piece is solid and stable and is in excellent condition overall. Antique Japanese carved wooden mask of an okina, or old man, used in the theatrical art form of Noh. Every Noh mask represents a specific character, and when the shite (performer) puts on their mask, the term for putting on clothing (kaburu) is not used. Rather, it is called kakeru or tsukeru (to hang/to attach), as this symbolizes the transformation into the character. The mask shows traces of the facial hair it once had, which has been lost due to age...

This soft pale pink colored antique Chinese silk skirt is from the late 1800's. The traditional floral embroidery is mainly uses satin stitch technique with the large flower in the center of the front and rear panels use Peking knots. In over all excellent condition but the two panel have been stitched together and the waist band has been shortened to accommodate the adjustment. Also the lining has been removed.....

This hemp is spun by hand. This has five places of small stains, but does not stand out. There is no damage really. The state is complete. Size 123cmx 121cm (38.1 "x 38.9 ")

Very nice Imperial yellow hand carved Chinese wine cup. The bowl is accented with carving details in the stems and lotus areas for added appeal. The shape of the bowls reflects those porcelain counterparts that were popular around the late Qing and early republic periods.
