Chinese transitional period compressed ovoid form jar decorated in underglaze blue with birds and insects flying among bamboo and flowering plants emerging from rockery set against a white porcelain ground. The upright glazed neck is decorated with downward pointed leaves. Glazed interior and flat slightly recessed unglazed base. 17th century. Measures nearly 12" high. Very good overall condition. There is a fine old brown chicken foot crack in the interior (see image)...

A finely potted Chinese buff pottery conical bowl, with moulded floral interior, covered in a lustrous semi translucent amber glaze over a white slip, the interior with three small spur marks. Liao dynasty, 10th century. 12 cms diam. From a Buckinghamshire, UK, collection formed in the 1980's.

This is a really nice depression glass green Bowknot 3 3/4 inch diameter low footed sherbet dish made by the Belmont Tumbler Company in the 1920s. This sherbet can be hard to find. A Very Rare Korean Goguryeo-高句麗-BC37-AD668) Roof End Tile-5th-6th C.: Korea, Goguryo (高句麗-BC37-AD668) dynasty (one of 3 King Domes), made in 5th -6th century. The circular tile is unusually thick and heavy, finely molded with a symbol of flower head surround by stylish sharp lotus, and traces white likely cement on surfaces. It is in very good condition with patina but some rim tiny chips due to use and age, It measures 15.3 cm s 5.2 cm. weight: 3.25 lbs.

A lovely hemispheric stamp seal with a defined handle which piercing in the top and engraved in the base with a nice image of the Sun, Uruk Period, Mesopotamia, 4th. millenium BC.

Condition: Near Extremely fine, some uncleaned sand deposits in the details, which distorts the imprint, but can be removed easily...

Interesting blackstone seal with low loop handle and a carving of XXX inside linedecoration, Mesopotamian, late Ubaid period (5500-3700 BC).

Oberlánder dates this seal to the 3rd. millenium BC, we're certain that it's a much earlier and made in the later Ubaid period (5500-3700 BC).

A nice stamp seal, found at the ancient city of Antioch (Amüg-Ebene) on the border between Anatolia and Mesopotamia, probably late Halaf-early Ubaid period, c. 5th. mill...

This exceptional tanto is very original, unique in its kind, it represents a bundle of lotus flowers wrapped in a canvas. The mount is in silver, embossed for the leaves of the sheath and cast for the flower buds at both ends. The seppa are in shakudo and gold. Some elements in gilded bronze. The design of the sheath is unique, it is a perfect imitation of a fabric canvas. It is made of woven bamboo fibers covered with lacquer...

A late Ubaid period stamp seal, probably made during the 4th. millenium BC. The seal in serpentine and of the double side tablet type, engraved with an interesting symethric motif of lines and a scetched animal on the other side.
