With compressed globular body rising to a tall neck and flared rim, covered overall, and on the base, with an unctuous glaze of green tone, the foot rim left unglazed exposing the red burn. A fine KANO SCHOOL Painting framed, Japan, 17/18th Century. This album Silk Painting mounted on heavy gold paper depicts a wonderful blooming SAKURA Tree with white blossoms and pink buds. Nice overall condition. Size 9.75" x 8.25" (25 cm. x 21 cm.)

This set of 6 cut crystal cordial glasses were produced in Bohemia by Moser in the late 19th century. The glasses measure 3 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 3/4 inches. The glasses are hand cut and have panels of amber glass in panels around the outside. Vermicelli gilding covers the rest of the surface of the glasses. The scalloped foot of each glass is cut with a star. Condition: There is wear to the gilded surfaces from use.

Hanging scroll. Portrait of probably Sugawara no Michizane, sitting in court dress - a black garment with a long white sash - holding a wooden mace. The black garment, with red liner, is delicately decorated with flowers between waving lines. The sash also decorated with stylized flower shapes.

Tosa style. Signature at bottom: Yuho Issho ga. Red seal: Issho no in.

Colors on silk.

Pair of American Edwardian sterling silver candlesticks, ca 1910. Urn socket on baluster shaft on domed foot. Plain bobeche and knop. Allover floral repousse and leaf-and-dart foot border. Traditional form with historic regional ornament. Marks including Baltimore retailer’s stamp (F. Bucher & Sons). Very good condition.
