Early Japanese antler netsuke of a Sennin; fine old patina; good condition

Ancient Greek Cypriot bronze tanged dagger or spear blade from the Bronze Age, dating back to circa 2500-1600 B.C. The blade has a broad tapering double-edged shape with a flattened central rib flanked by two shallow fullers, making it perfect for thrusting and cutting. Extremely rare oil lamp featuring a base of mercury glass decorated with floral painting and satin finishing. The floral decoration is an autumnal design depicting leaves and wheat in shades of brown, gold, green and cream, accented with cornflowers in blue and small orange flowers. Antique Chinese shard box made of porcelain and silver. The porcelain lid has a charming scene of young boys playing in a courtyard. One boy looks down into a large basin that is cracked and a river of water pours out with a boy climbing out. Two boys are running towards an unknown destination. The boy in the center observes the unfolding scenes while he is watched by his companion. The box is made of silver. The outside has a beautiful floral design that has been hammered into it...

Song dynasty, ca. 1200-1300

Probably made in the Longquan kilns, this bowl is of flaring conical form and has incised longitudinal lines on the exterior. The exterior is glazed in pale olive-green celadon and the glaze stops well above the foot. The foot and base are unglazed, exposing the light-gray porcelaneous body. The interior is glazed throughout. There is a small chip to the outer rim. Purchased in Kyoto, Japan around 1975.

A fine 18th century Chinese molded celadon-glazed porcelain dish, finely decorated around the center with stylized archaistic dragons encircling a central roundel of a lotus flower, a band of key-fret pattern around the foliated rim, covered overall in green glazed. DATE : Qianlong (1736 - 1795). SIZE : D = 28 cm CONDITION : perfect condition, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.

Fine rectangular lime box made of bronze, decorated with numerous silver inserts representing floral and geometric designs. Inside the box are four compartments with their lids, also decorated with silver inserts showing stylised flowers. Philippines archipelago, Mindanao island, early 19th century. Dimensions: length: 9.3 cm, height: 6.1 cm. Slight abrasion due to age, otherwise very good condition. Provenance: Acquired in Luzon island in 1978.

A very nice porcelain jar of the Ming Dynasty, Yongle period ( 1403 - 1425 ) decorated in underglaze cobalt-blue with a very decorative, classic Lotus-motif. The condition, the execution of the classic Lotus motif, the wonderful "silky" glaze and the deep and very nice cobalt blue makes this jar to an highlight for any Yongle-collection. Cream, blue and black glazed pottery dish on a short foot. The center decorated with faint floral patterns in relief in the manor of the Seljuqs.

Condition: Very fine, a few cracks basically restored. Exceptional silverish iridescence patina that is difficult to picture.
