This interesting and attractive pottery tile was made during the Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234) and most likely comes from Shanxi province. A rare antique Vietnamese four-legged Censer from the Le dynasty. (Later Le Dynasty, Vietnamese Nha Hau Le, (1428–1788), the greatest and longest lasting dynasty of traditional Vietnam.) The white glazed ceramic censer has a cylindrical body with lappet band above molded trigrams. The vessel is raised on four zoomorphic supports. Provenance: Prominent private collection from San Diego, CA.

This interesting pottery tile was made during the Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234) and most likely comes from Shanxi province. It depicts a scene from the story of the Liu Yin, one of the stories of the twenty-four paragons of filial piety:
Liu Yin lived in the Western Jin period. One winter when he was nine, his mother lost her appetite because she longed to eat jin, which was impossible to obtain in winter...
Small dish covered by white glazed and decorated with twin fish; unglazed base . PERIOD : Yuan Dynasty 1279-1368 AD. MEASUREMENTS: 12.5 cm wide,. CONDITION: a hairline and firing crack and free from restorations.
Width 9 cm.
Minor frittings on the rim of box, no chips, cracks or hairlines and free from restorations.
A Cambodian cast bronze statuette representing the Hindu god Vishnu standing with his 4 arms. The bronze has an excellent old patina which confirms the dating. Khmer art 12th century or before.
A wooden plinth was made around 1900 to stabilize the statue.
