Late Qing Dynasty (1890s to 1911) embroidered Chinese textile rank badge (also called mandarin square) denoting the third civil rank symbolized by the bird on the badge - the Peacock. Designs on background include peach, pomegranate, fish, shell and bats in flight among clouds and above the fungus of Immortality over the waves. Keyfret borders with peach, pomegranate and Buddha’s hand citron motifs, colors slightly faded, newer black velvet backing. Size 9x9.5 inches.
Good early 20 the century Miao wedding blanket from Antai area, Guangxi Zhuang, China. The base is made from all handspun cotton with silk and cotton warp embroidered geometrical floral pattern and swastika meander at lower border, the entire piece is framed in a handspun indigo border (possibly original). There is one hole on the cotton border and minor fading in the center, seems to show up more in the photo than it does in real life...

Japanese Kutani Porcelain Cup and Saucer, Ca. 1910, Meiji Period, 4 7/8" diameter-saucer, 1 7/8" high, 3 7/8" wide include handle-cup, very detailed design of Japanese garden and bird flying over in Orange and Gold on white background, highlighted with brilliant gold on orange background design. Artist or Studio signature with very stylish script in gold on the bottom. The condition is good.

A blue and white octagonal plate, Qianlong period, of flat shape with sharp cut and brown-glazed rim. Decoration of flowers, rock and a willow tree surrounded by a Kanghsi type border. Diameter "8½ to 9¼/ 21,5 to 22,5 cm. Condition: rim frits and glaze imperfections as shown on photos, otherwise fine.
Museum quality Edo Period C.1860 zen temple mizubachi. Lost wax cast with a great dragon spout in grand detail and spectacular shishi mythical lion ornament on the top of the lid. The diaper motif on the base is in raised relief and equally spectacular. The spigot on the dragon head is permanent so we are assuming that there was a constant water flow. Very slight indentation on one of the hanging jewels but so slight you can only see at the right angle. H:51cm x W: 43cm. Ask for shipping quote.
