Offered is a fine pair of Japanese 18th Century porcelain bowls, made in Arita circa 1740 to 1780, give or take a decade. They are decorated in underglaze blue and white (sometsuke). These bowls measure approximately 5 3/4" (about 14.6 cm) wide and just under 2" (5.2 cm) high, and the weight is 225 grams for one bowl and 267 grams for the other...
"Bun-in" is the last kiln for Joseon court.
And there, high quality and sophisticated works were made.
This piece with autumn flower has "wabi-sabi" feeling.
In spite of damage of mouth, the repair part by lacquer and gold rather give more "wabi-sabi" feeling...
Henan kiln of Cizhou kiln group is famous for black glaze ware. This piece is very rare because of white spotted.

A Very Fine and Beautiful White Glazed/High Footed Bowl-19th C.:
Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century.
The bowl, set on a slightly flared high ring footed and with slightly everted mouth rim,
decorated in a white blue-tinged, warm and clear glaze applied overall evenly, with sand traces on the foot rim.
It’s in very fine condition but a small chip on the foot rim (see photo), measures 6.6cm h. x 8.3cm d.
Rare Chinese deep powder blue porcelain censer; Kangxi Period; the rounded sides tapering elegantly inwards to form the rim; at the base there are three rounded feet to reflect the traditional tripod censer; minor surface scratches; good condition
19th century tortoise shell box on 4 wooden bun feet.
Still has with original key and lock works. In very good antique condition, there are some cracks throughout the tortoise shell. One hinge, see last photo, is slightly damaged, but does not comprise the box in that the lid is not loose. Measures 7 5/8 inches wide, 5 1/4" wide, 2 3/4" high
An antique Japanese Ko Tansu (personal storage chest) and of Kiri (Paulownia), Hinoki (Cypress) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. Original hand forged iron hardware including the Mokko handles. A hinged door hides two small drawers behind and two sliding doors hide a storage space where books and reading material was tucked away.
Its original purpose was for the storage of papers, ephemera, letters, documents, books and small accessories...
Rare Chinese hat in silk, silver and gold kesi. Built like a melon with 6 pieces of sewn kesi. The ponpon is original in silk and silver.
Excellent quality the points are tight and thick for more strength. The decor is extremely rare, it is made up of assembled cubes. From memory I remember having seen on an imperial porcelain a similar cubic decoration, it was specified that they were stylized dragons...
