Antique Chinese peach silk ladies robe with blue and gold embroidery. Wonderfully embroidered butterflies, phoenixes and fans in gold. Peony flowers embroidered in shades of blue and white. Detail on upper back with spider. Measures 47" x 29". Overall good condition. The embroidery is in excellent condition, the border slightly frayed. Late 19th c.

Extremely rare and hard to find, is this truly exceptional Chinese cloisonne pitcher, enriched by geometrical designs and embodied with colorful flowers. The top and bottom borders are done in a royal blue cobalt contrasted by a turquoise backdrop entwined with golden wire. This wonderful item is dated to the late 19th century and stands 4 inches tall.

Unusual Indian small bronze Indian votive sculpture of the elephant headed Hindu god Ganesha, known as the Remover of Obstacles, seated on high rectangular base, the most striking feature is the upturned circular movement of his trunk, his hands are also unusual in that they are mitt shaped and bear no attributes, all over black patina, 18th century. Height 3.5" Size: 3" high x 3" wide x 2 5/8" deep.

Small bronze Indian votive sculpture of the elephant headed Hindu god Ganesha, known as the Remover of Obstacles, beautifully intact with all four arms holding attributes including his goad or ax and sweets of which he is sampling with his trunk, wonderful detail and form with elongated head, covered with vermilion remnants, 19th century. Size: 3" high x 2 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep.

A circular lidded box with compartments used for jewelry and other valuables included in the dowry of a Vietnamese bride, c 1900 or earlier. Rosewood with mother-of-pearl inlays of flowers, butterflies and birds. Note: Diameter "8 3/4/ 22 cm, height "4/ 10 cm. Condition: loss of inlays to the lid, still beautiful.

A Chinese plate, late Kangxi or Yongzheng, early 18th c. Decoration of a river landscape in under-glaze blue, over-glaze iron red and gilt. Red mountains in the background- unusual - apparently with snow at the top. Diameter “9/23 cm. Condition: rim frits and minimal wear to the well.

Rare George III Tea Caddy with Hidden Drawer, rectangular with stepped hinged top surmounted by a brass carrying handle, brass escutcheon and sliding side panel revealing a hidden drawer (patch above keyhole, lacks interior dividers).

One of the rarest of this form of tea caddy, the concealed drawer would have held your silver teaspoons.

Small blue and white dish or bowl, 18th century, Kangxi or early Qianlong. Willow, peony, rock and garden fence pattern, and a brown "protection" glazed rim. Diameter "6¼/ 16 cm, height "1½/ 3,5 cm. Condition: glaze bubbles and roughness to foot rim.

This porcelain wall pocket was made in England by Royal Worcester in 1880. The mark is in dark green, with the capital letter R indicating that year. The wall pocket measures 6 1/4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is molded in the shape of a pouch with a fringed tassel tying it off. The ground color of the pouch is a combination of bronze and gold. The tie is gold and there is gold trim around the ruffled opening...

A signed Christopher Dresser Linthorpe pottery plate circa 1880. This superb and rare Linthorpe high relief 8" English pottery plate features a naturalistic branch with leaves with a rustic white/yellow glaze on the front and no glazing on the back. It is stamped LINTHORPE Ch. Dresser HT on the back; Dresser was the designer for this factory c1879-89 and Henry Tooth was the manager prior to 1883, making the date of manufacture 1879-83...

It has a sinuous Art Nouveau floral design and it is stamped STERLING GORHAM MFG CO 1984/6 on the bottom. It weighs 181 grams (5.8 ounces) and it in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small split on one of the cutouts (see image)...

An S Kirk and Sons sterling silver repousse nut serving bowl and matching spoon. The 6-1/2" diameter bowl and 5-1/4" long spoon both have the high-relief floral repousse work this quality American silver firm was known for. It is on on the bowl's rim and on the spoon handle and in the bowl, which also has a relief scene of fruit including pineapple, grape, apple and strawberry. The spoon's bowl measures 2" across. Both pieces have a fancy S monogram, and each is stamped S. KIRK & SON STERLING...
