Kobako in gold and silver lacquer taka maki-e and hira maki-e, decorated with a yanagi (weeping willow) and flowering trees adjacent to a black and gold lacquer barrier. The barrier panels are decorated with regular geometric patterns in taka maki-e gold lacquer.

Antique Thai figure of seated Buddha Shakyamuni. Made of bronze and seated with his hands folded in meditation (Dhyana mudra). Downcast eyes with lids barely open, a gentle smile on his face, he exudes a sense of calm. With lovely patina and traces of gilt.

A fine example of Edo period Kano painting, this generously proportioned hanging scroll illustrates a late autumn scene from the Japanese countryside over 300 years ago. The poem on the scroll reads:

Chinese Yuan dynasty longquan celadon dish decorated with nice single fish at the centre. 20,5 cm diameter. Dish has two chipped at the rim and one chipped at the foot rim (please see on the pictures) Free from any repaired.

Yuki-boshi (snow hat) made of weed and from Shonai region in Yamagata prefecture in Tohoku district. It is said it was worn by "matagi", a hunter. Banko pottery teapot with polychrome birds decoration in relief on a natural background imitating a basketry resting on a saddle. Different birds decorate the edges of the teapot, the neck of one of them and the tail of another forming the passersby of the handle, a duck with outstretched wings and a large beak forming the spout.
