This old Mongolian artifact was made from leather hides sewn together with leather cord and then formed into a servicable shape approximating an irregular bottle. Handling and pouring was aided by the wooden handles.

A folk art object approx 150 years old and used for many years as a sake container saki. It is approx 19 inches high and 16 inches at the widest point about 10 inches deep.

A pair of perfectly and very thinly potted porcelain bowls. Brilliantly enamelled ( Famille Rose enamels and gold ) with an Lotus decoration in an extraordinary quality. Diameter : 8,4 cm. H : 4,2 cm. Condition : Perfect, with an extraordinary nice " ping - tone " when tapped.

A fayence pap boat or invalid feeder, tin glazed. With ribbed sides and rustic decoration of flowers in blue, yellow and green. Southern Germany, probably Schrezheim. Length "8 / 20 and height "2 ¾ / 7 cm. Condition: some wear to the spout (cf. pics).

19th Century Chinese Silver Filigree Turquoise Carved Plaque God of Prosperity lu Bracelet

It is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) in circumference by 2.3 inches (5.8 cm) inner diameter and 2.2 inches (5.7 cm) wide. The heart plaque is 1.8 inches (4.5 cm) long by 0.98 inch (2.5 cm) wide. It weighs 42.1 gram.

The silver is tarnished. It also has inclusions at the plaque and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Large Georgian Tea Chest in nicely figured mahogany; rectangular with quarter column corners, having a stepped lid surmounted by a brass carrying handle and opening to a fitted interior retainiing two tin tea caddies and a sugar box and the whole raised on ogee bracket feet. English, Circa1780.

11.75" x 7.5" x 6.5" tall

Egyptian head with side lock, probably of Harpokrates, the infant son of Isis and Horus.
The face shows almond shaped eyes, a flattish nose, and slit mouth. The well preserved left ear appears just below the partially present side lock. The neck slightly bent to the figure’s left side.
The head most likely belongs to an ithyphallic limestone figure. For a related example, cf. acc. no. ST58 in the British Museum database.

A fine example of a Longton Hall porcelain tea bowl and saucer, hand painted in the "Windswept" pattern. The scene features an oriental type interpretation of tall trees, rocks, and foliage with a small flock of birds flying above.

Beautifully and thinly potted, the condition of both the bowl and saucer is excellent, with bright, clear colors and no issues at all. The saucer has a 4 1/2" diameter, while the bow has a 3" diameter and a height of 1 5/8"...

A smaller Danish Neolithic Hardstone Axe with an unfinished hole near the butt. Likely Funnelbeakerculture, mid-late 4th mill. BC.

Axes like these probably had a religious status, and are rather scarce.

Size is c. 13 cm - 5 inches.

Condition: Nearly superb.

The half male, half female represents the union of opposites, the universal principles: masculine, Purusha and feminine, Prakriti. In this painting, Parvati is easily identified by her beauty and crown. Shiva is identified by the snake the encircle both their neck, his tiger cloth, and his long hair which is secured on top of his head...

A pair of rare 19th C Chinese hand carved hardwood, possibly Hong Mu wood, Scholars desk trays in a large lily pad leaf design with flower heads. Each being slightly different, one has a bird’s head and the other a nice protruding stem between the flower heads, they were made to be displayed together. These were finished with a mix of beeswax and a few other natural concoctions the Chinese used to seal the finish and give it a great mellow sheen...

A very attracvtive and rare type of lock for a hatch or locking bar, likely Northern Italian, ca. 15th. century.

A square plate lock with some fine, strictly gothic renaissance carved and punched iron decoration.

Antique Japanese large single section todana tansu. Made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood. This piece 4 horizontal rows with 4 drawers in each row for a total of 16 drawers. All of them are the same size. The hardware is made of iron and each drawer has a warabite shaped drawer pull.

Dimensions: 29" high x 65 1/2" wide x 17 1/8" deep.

Unusual 19th century small iron and bronze ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) in oval puck shape with two relief mushrooms on the front. Wonderful crisp detailing, the body of ojime is iron, mushrooms and the back are bronze, in excellent condition, pleasant patina. Signed on the back TERU in hiragana. Height 7/16 inches.

An rare an early gilt on bronze Tang-sui votive on four curved feet with vine branches holding seven Buddhas. These images appear early Buddhist iconography representing the Buddhas of the Past. Later these multiple images became one image. This votive was made for personal devotion...
