A fine repousse sterling celluloid chatelaine comb circa 1890s with a celluloid comb. This 2-3/8 x 5/8" accessory has the original suspension loop, and it is stamped F&B 115 STERLING. Baby's ceremonial kimono made of asa whose warp and weft are hand-plied. It looks choma (ramie) than taima (hemp), however it is not proven till it is looked by a microscope. Child's or baby's kimono was recycled from adult's and so did this one. It has some stains. The folded seam in the body is unseamed. The second half of the 19th century. 96cm x 115cm

Late Meiji period (1890s to 1912) Japanese buffalo horn kushi (hair comb) with lacquer decoration of a scholarly landscape with trees, torii gate, scholar’’s hut and a bay with distant hills, design continuing on the back. Very well made, beautiful lacquering, wonderful work in Japanese taste, in great condition. Length 3.74 inches.

A scarce early American pressed or pattern glass 8-3/8" tall covered footed sugar bowl in the Daisy and Button with Thumbprint Panel pattern, issued by Adams and U.S. Glass of Pittsburgh c1890. This is the collectable Vaseline colour, and this item is in very good original condition with no cracks, losses, major damage or repairs other than some minor chipping to the finial and column ends and edges on the lid and on one column and inside rim of the base (all chips minor)...

An Austrian Puss In Boots handpainted cup & saucer circa 1900. This Arts and Crafts era Austrian handpainted 2-5/8" tall demitasse cup and matching 4-1/2" saucer depicts Puss in Boots walking on a country road with a windmill, trees and hills in the background. It is stamped MADE IN AUSTRIA DEUTSCHE VOLKSMARCHEN on the back of the saucer, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing...
A lid for an urn vase, coffee or chocolate brown glaze with Famille rose enamels in leaf-shaped reserves. Chinese so-called Batavia or Capuciner brown ware, early 18th century. Diameter 3¼" / 8 cm, the inner rim to fit a vase or urn opening with a diameter of 1½" / 3,9 cm or more. Condition: fine.

Outstanding sterling silver master salt spoon in a rococo pattern by Gorham. I have not been able to put a name to this assymetrical pattern, although it is very similar to "Marie Antoinette" and "Dresden". The bowl is parcel gilt. The reverse is marked with Gorham's old hallmark.
Origin: America, circa 1885. Condition: excellent, gilding intact, crisp details, period mongram "Y". Size: 3-5/8" long.
