A Fine Koren Carved Wood Folk Wedding Duck: Korea, 19th Century Carved with a lozenge-form body with a flat, oval base and a fitted with a detachable neck and head which fit into a round hole in the body, painted in black pigment with two eyes, its beak has two holes for fiting laces, it has old rich dark patina on the surface. Scruffy looking old Japanese warrior doll (musha ningyo). This doll is not so tall (11 1/2" tall) but heavily padded, solid and quite heavy. When we acquired this doll, his hair was already replaced once and most of it was; one side is painted in black. Old glass eyes. The checker design (ichimatsu design) on his clothes is very similar to "Enshu-donsu", one of the famous fabrics used for tea ceremonies in the Edo period. 11 1/2" high x 11" wide x 12" deep. An outstanding Restoration period French silver wine taster in the 18th century style typical of Lyon. This is Japanese Indigo dye shibori Baby boro kimono meiji(1868-1912). Baby's indigo dye shibori kimono is rare. Textile seems to be hand spun and woven. It is thick indigo dye cotton. There are a stain and little damage. It is warm very cotton of touch. The lining is also very charming. size:62cm x 65cm (24.4" x 25.6")

A rare sample of early Ming 15th century over glaze enamel large dish, rounded side with lobbed flattened rim and glazed base, dish decorated with very fine drawing of flower motif at the interior, two winged flying dragon circling outer wall, very good sample for any one who interested into studying early Chinese porcelain. found from east java. size: 30.5 cm diameter

A fine Yuan dynasty longquan celadon large dish, rounded side with bracket lobbed rim and glazed base, there is a ring for firing at the base, dish decorated with rare tree motif at the center and vertical ribbing suggesting flower petal motif, dish covered with good green glaze.
Dish is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, porcelain with high ping sound with finger tip.

A very rare Yuan dynasty qingbai glaze large cover box, rounded side with barrel shape and unglazed base, cover box decorate with Chinese character in the cover, inner part with frog and lotus flower motif, covered with fine qingbai color glaze.
Cover box is in good condition with original firing crack on the lower rim, no chip, no restoration, very rare piece.

From our Southeast Asia Collection, a fine and large Thai Rattanakosin bronze Buddha, early-to-middle 19th century, depicting Buddha with both hands raised shoulder level with palms forward in Ham Samut mudra, also known as "Calming the Waters" or "Calming the Ocean" mudra. Buddha is wearing regal attire here with traditional tall crown and body jewelry that is elaborately inset with lacquer and glass adornments. Gilding retention is relatively high on this example...

A rare Ming 17th century blue and white bowl, rounded side with out flared rim and glazed base, bowl decorated with under glaze blue of Chinese character or poem at outer wall, inner wall also with Chinese character, base with four Character, good blue color.
Bowl is in good condition with hairline at the rim, no chip, no restoration.

A Silver Plated Revolving Bacon or Breakfast Warming Dish or Tureen with a Roll Top and an Ivory Button on the Handle. Two removable liners, one solid and one pierced.
