The opening of the shell is 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" wide. The Sancai glaze is beautifully spread out with few firing glaze cracks about 1/2" to 1/4" long...

Chinese yellow Crackle ware Pottery Brush Washer and brush Holder, Ca. pre 1920, 1 5/8" high-maximum measurement, 2 3/4" wide,1 3/4" deep-maximum measurement, with crackled yellowish beige color glaze, a high relief frog beside rock garden on the top next to a round hole 3/8" diameter to hold a single brush. This crackle ware Brush Washer has glaze crack and few glaze flake frits on the glaze.

Japanese shigaraki jar, Edo period 17th-18th century, thickly potted, the skin showing the characteristic pock marks and imbedded fieldspar with a natural ash glaze. This jar was originally used to store tea but became desired as an object of mingei beauty due to the tea ceremony aesthetics. It measures 4.5" wide at mouth 21' tall.

Beautiful and rare famille rose porcelain dish with very well painted figural and landscaping decoration. Qianlong six characters reign mark and of the period. Condition: Excellent, there are small chips on the foot rim, it looks like that these chips were already there before the enamel applied. Please refer to the enlargements to confirm this. Chinese Silver chain or bracelet with Bell, Turquoise and Nephrite Jade Ring, 11" long-maximum length, Bell-7/8" wide, 1" high, the Jade is 7/8" diameter-outside measurement, 7/8" long x 5/8" wide for Turquoise drop tear shape, 3/4" x 5/8" wide for Peach. The bell has beautiful ringing. It shows beautiful old patina.

This lidded box is enameled with a floral pattern on the lid and four sides. The various colored flowers are arranged against a turquoise blue ground with an overall background of geometric pattern of cloisons The exposed metal that is not enameled is gilded both inside and outside the box with the gilding having mostly worn off the wires of the flowers and background from age and use...

Antique Japanese bronze figure of Quanyin from the Meiji period, late 19th century. The figure is holding a scroll and wearing draped robes decorated with necklaces and flowers. Quanyin is the buddhist goddess of compassion. It measures 12" tall, 4" wide at base.

Chinese cabinet, lacquered all over and inlaid with scenes of beautiful ladies and children in a pavilion garden setting, the sides of the cabinet are also lacquered and inlaid with scenes of birds and flowers, interior has three shelves - the middle shelf has is two drawers built in, the front of the drawers are also decorated to match the front with beautiful lacquer work of scrolling flowers, 19th century. Size: 56 1/4" high x 36 1/4" wide x 17" deep.

From our Chinese Polychrome Collection, a very fine Peking carpet, North China circa 1890-1920. This particular example features a large open golden orange field, which varies wonderfully in intensity of color throughout the pile. It's sparsely but elegantly decorated in restrained Chinese taste, using only leafy vines set against the open field, and bordered with a rich and still quite vibrant inky blue / navy blue outer border...

Japanese Imari Porcelain Octagonal/Hexagonal shape Dish, early part of 1900's, 1 3/8" high, 6 1/8" x 5 1/4" wide, overglaze and gilt highlight design of a Swan with red crown flying over the Japanese Bamboo fenced flower garden in the center. Invisible restoration on one(1) small chip 1/4" area, and very shallow stained old chip 1/2" long on the top rim.

This rare carved walrus tusk of a pine tree boat is a late 19th century product. It depicts 13 young female fairies riding on a pine tree covered boat crossing the ocean. They are engaged in playing musical instruments, chess and painting. In Chinese culture, the pine tree represents longevity because it is evergreen and lives for a long time. Showing a rich patina, the carving is elegant, and superb. It is 6 ¼” long, 2” wide and 2 ½” high...

This is kinran silk nishijin textile uchishiki of the Meiji era(1868-1912).It does not have a stain. It has one intellect Sana hole. However, it is very good condition.As for it, lining is cotton. size:76cm x 66cm (29.9" x 26")

A quality late 19thC 750 silver jug with baronial crests by J Wagner and Sohn ( Son ) Germany. This antique 5-1/4" tall cream pitcher has a wrythen or twisted groove style and a thumb rest as well as classic hoof shape feet. It is stamped J. WAGNER & SOHN 750 M, it weighs 195 grams, and it has two finely engraved baronial heraldic crests engraved on one side indicating that it was probably originally a wedding present...
