Antique Japanese bronze vase with a rectangular form, a raised horizontal line running along its very middle with the image of a taotie motif (jawless face/ogre). It has long, slender side handles curling at the bottom and forming into a face at its very top and its neck and base are fluted outwards. Meiji period (1868-1912) Size: 11" height, 5" width

A well balance potted Qingbai vase. Of unusual shape, pear-shaped body, with a gently flaring neck flanked by small moulded handles, supported on a tall foot, with a moulded flattened section emanating from the middle of the foot, the body applied on one side with a raised decoration of a flower spray, covered overall in a greenish white glaze. Song dynasty 12th-13th century in perfect condition. Height: 14.6cm.

This unique and stylish bronze vase has a beautiful shape. Two charming elephant trunks extend from the neck of vase on either side with a floral, geometric background. Near base, Japanese Taotie, ogre-like characters, and curvy designs spread around the vase, adding intriguing detail. Vase also includes a copper inset that can be removed. A complexly decorated Chinese export plate in underglaze blue with overglaze red, orange and gilding depicting scrolling plants, two panels with a house under a flowering tree and an octagonal symbol in the center. Brown painted rim. There are trailing blue and red plants on the back and the foot is unglazed. Probably more toward the first quarter of the 18th century than the second quarter. 8 5/8 inches (22 cm) diameter.

Condition: No cracks, hairlines or repairs...

A well decorated Chinese Imari export plate with underglaze blue and overglaze red, orange and gold. The scene of flowering plants and a Chinese fence covers the face of the plate, from the rim on one side, across the center and onto the opposite rim. There is a single blue line at the outer border and a brown edge. The back is decorated with blue and red trailing flowers and has an unglazed foot. Probably the first quarter of the 18th century...

This beautiful elegant lotus is perched on curled stems that make up the lotus's stand. A small bud is tucked underneath, resting upward against the flower. This intriguing bronze Daoist vase is decorated with chinese taotie, circling the top and bottom slender areas of the cylindrical vase. Symbols circling around middle part of vase are from the "I Ching" Prophesy, one of the oldest Chinese texts. The solid lines representing the Yang, the creative principle. The open lines represent the Yin, the receptive principle...

A white porcelain bowl with under glaze incised (anhua） decoration depicting two dragons amongst stylized clouds and flames. On the base, in underglaze blue, is the six character reign mark of the Guangxu Emperor (1875-1908). Condition: there is a small shallow 0.5cm chip to the inside of the rim and much of the over glaze silver decoration is worn away...

Antique Japanese iron tsuba or hand guard for a sword, in a mokko or melon shape, decorated with motifs of thin tree branches with plums and blossoms, with silver and Shokudo inlay, and an engraved sun in the top corner. Antique monochrome bowl with a beautiful deep peach bloom glaze and a clear over glaze. Inside this porcelain bowl is light bluish- white coloring. Bottom of bowl models a round foot. Edges of the bowl shows are the blue-white as well. From the 18th-19th century. Dimensions: 6.5" in diameter
