An incredible lacquered screen decorated with a Bugaku Dancer wearing an angry devil mask opposing a snake in incredibly thick relief opposite three gentlemen heating sake over a fire under the changing leaves of a maple, their oxcart off to the side. An inlaid cartouche near the snake reads Kan. The two-sided panel is set into a frame with matt black iron texture over a raw kiri-wood panel inset with three windows...
A very fine and elegant Chinese octagonal gold lacquer and Pewter TEA CADDY, 19th Century, with extremely fine and meticulous hand painting, depicting various figures in an Imperial Palace Setting. Comes with the original key and the locking mechanism works well. Overall in good condition, with a few climatic cracks. Some very minor flaking of the lacquer work above the 2 hinges on the back side of the tea caddy, but not very noticeable, especially not from the front view...

An antique set of 4 Huanghuali lamp chairs. Marble frame inset on back splat. Ancient archaic motif with beautiful Huanghuali grain. With a carved square floating medallion hard seat and a refined carved Han archaic style apron. Four bracing stretchers support each of the chair legs.

Korean medium sized sword gently curved blade, leather-wrapped handle with chased brass cuff, blackened wooden scabbard with handle thread wrapped and the blade handle with leather wrapping. It’s in good condition with aged patina original scabbard and wrapped handle.
It is in fair condition with its use and age, it measures Overall:72cm, sword and shealth:66cm and only blade: 33cm.

A pair of attractive early European iron keys, with remnants of copper on the larger one, c. 16th. century.
Lot includes a large 14,5 cm. long key with remnants of copper plating and cross cut bit, early 16th. century, perhaps even earlier.
The other key with a hearthshaped bow, measuring 10,7 cm. c. 16th. century.
Condition: Very fine, nice metal with a thick and stable iron patina.

Cotton futonji with katazome (stencil-resist dye), which is remade from yogi (one kind of futon in the shape of kimono). It is made of hand spun cotton and dyed with vegetable indigo. The reddish-brown color is bengara (iron oxide red pigment). 19th century. In good condition except for three mending patches. one snag and some small holes. W:153cm, L:165cm
The size of Plate: 5 7/8" Dia x 1 1/8" High. This is beautiful Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain plate with polychrome colors with Fence Design and flowers. All flowers and fence design has gold works around. All designs are intricately hand painted. Backside plate with Karakusa design around the border. Inside foot rim has "Taimin Seika Nensei" (Great Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi) in Japanese; Kanji letters...
Tang terra cotta image of a Fat Lady. Traces of original pigment with legible facial features (note noted in enlargements). This is the smallest one I have ever seen- miniatures are extremely rare. H: 6.2cm. The bottom is uneven (just appears to have been made that way) there are traces of glue where it was probably once attached to a stand, otherwise, good condition- no damage or repair.
A colorless Webb ewer or cruet decorated with an acid etched floral design and having an acorn stopper. The 7 ½ inch tall piece is 10 inches tall with the stopper in place. The stopper is not the original but is the correct style of stopper for this piece.
The surface of this black glazed bowl signed on the base Dohachi has been impressed all over with seals in a style known as In-chirashi. It comes in an ancient wooden box with ebony rim titled inside Dohachi Saku (Chirashi-in) Chawan, while outside a much-worn paper label reads In-chirashi Dohachi Saku Chawan. The original silk pouch, much deteriorated, is included, but no longer strong enough to hold the bowl...
