Hard porcelain vase created by tominaga genroku (1860-1920). Decorated with peonies painted underglaze in a classic cobalt blue, yellow, green and pink enameled details. Elegant shape, well-designed flowers, harmonious colors. Classic model typical of this period. The Ureshino kilns located in kyushu produced this type of porcelain from the end of the 19th century.Peonies are a symbol of immortality. A crack in the neck. Hard porcelain bowl, produced in the Fukagawa kilns in Arita. Very artistic decor, typically Japanese, separated into two clearly distinct parts. On the one hand, two cranes in flight pass in front of misty Mount Fuji. The mountain and the sky are painted in underglaze cobalt blue and it is the absence of color which draws the clouds. The birds are in white, black and red enamels, they are meticulously drawn...

Simply elegant wood panel depicting a bird perched on a rock beneath plum blossom in the background there are mountains and trees. The carving is in perfect condition with traces of original blue pigment- please note the delicacy in which the bird’s legs were carved as well as the bare trees beneath the mountains and bracken ferns at the bottom of the foothill (if you use your imagination they look like high rise apartments). One of the largest tablet or brick seals, we've ever offered. Bifacial tablet seals can normally be dated to around the 3rd. millenium BC. This is so delicately carved that it could be made somewhat later in the 2nd. mill. BC.

The black serpentine seal depicts a large Bee, filling the whole of the seal, and on the other side a Scorpion. Particularly, the Bee is masterfully engraved, so that even tiny details and textures of the bee can be seen...

A nice wearable solid silver ring with monogram, Byzantine Empire, c. 700-900 AD.

Elaborate Roman silver ring, 1st.-3rd. cent. AD.

The ring is moulded with a large female bust on the top. She is either a deity or a high-born lady, with a tall draped hairdress and diadem.

Size: about 25 mm. wide. 9.60 grams. The ring-size is c. 19 mm.

Condition: Nice Very fine and intact. stable and Wearable. The surface with corrosion and brown deposits.

Burmese wooden seated crowned Buddha, or sometimes known as 'King Buddha', wearing diadem-crowns and ornaments of kings instead of ordinary monk's robes.

Good dark soy brown glazed ovoid jar Tang Dynasty from a northern kiln, nice size- H: 12.5cm/5in and D: 16.5cm6.5in. Some kiln flaws i.e., bubble pops and minor chip on side- please examine enlargements.

A larger and very refined La Tolita head. He wears a giant nosering and a cap, in hard burnt stoneware.

This is an ancient Etruscan Impasto Jug with double handles, c. 650 BC. It has a few old chips from use but is otherwise intact. It is 5" tall x 4.25" wide (12.5 cm x 11 cm)and is from an old Dutch collection, possibly from Latium. A ribbed and pleasing shape.

German Classical 800 silver centerpiece, ca 1910. Solid oval well and curved sides with reeded rim, open basketweave, and chased and engraved ornament: Leafing scroll frames inhabited by cherubs feasting on grapes in company of a goat as well as waving torches and hoisting flower baskets overhead. Victorian Classical sterling silver baby cup. Made by John Bell and Frederick Brasted in London in 1860. Baluster bowl on raised foot; leaf-capped double-scroll handle. Edwardian Classical brilliant-cut glass water pitcher with sterling silver collar. Made by Wilcox (part of International) in Meriden, Conn., ca 1910. Baluster with c-scroll handle; ornament in form of leaf flutes, ferns, and stars. Beaded collar with helmet mouth; engraved interlaced script monogram. Silver marked “Sterling” with maker’s stamp.
