Antique Chinese hardwood folding chair decorated with beautifully incised metal accents. The chair has a leather string that laces through the bottom legs to secure the chair open or closed. It measures 44" tall (folded), 20.5" at widest.

Made in Mino in Gifu prefecture, these e-shino type small bowls were produced in sets of five or ten and used to serve guests the special foods of the Kaiseki meal that often accompanied formal tea ceremonies. These two bowls were wheel-formed, then shaped while the clay was still wet. They were then painted with simple, almost abstract designs using iron oxide for the pigment...

Beautiful two section desk with a 2 section inlaid marble top. The top section has three drawers, the bottom section has two drawers. The marble is grey and white. Brass hardware. It measures 44"wide x 22"deep 32" tall. early Republic period circa 1900.

This traditional embroidered vest was made and worn by the woman of the Miao minority culture living in the Ge Jia region of China generations ago. The textile fabric was hand woven with a specific thread count to allow for the geometric embroidery pattern which was added later.

This very nice carved bamboo arm rest is an early 20th century product. It is 11 1/8” long, 2 ¾” wide and a quarter of an inch thick. It depicts two elders and one young servant sitting under bamboo and pine trees which are beneath a cloud covered mountain. There are five characters and a seal carved on the top...

George II Tea Caddy with Hidden Drawer; rectangular with stepped hinged top surmounted by a brass carrying handle, brass escutcheon and sliding side panel revealing a hidden drawer (slight warp to lid). Circa 1740.

Set of six antique chinese canton rose medallion coup porcelain plates with court scenes and birds. The plates are beautifully painted with different court scenes and birds in flowers. Circa 1875, no mark on the bases. 8.25" wide.

Japanese Totai Cloisonne Vase, enamel with silver wire work on Earthenware, signed in red "Kinkosan" under the high foot base, Ca. late 1800's, late Meiji period, 12" high, 4 3/4" wide-maximum width. The main body has colorful floral design enamel work divided by silver wire inside two(2) cartouches on each side on powder blue background, and more individual enamel floral design on the green Turquoise color background outside the cartouches...

Transitional Period, Ca. mid 1600s

This jar is incised all around the body with a bird and floral scene. A vine design encircles the shoulder, bordered by double incised lines. There is a small flower sprig on two sides of the neck with a single incised line encircling just below the mouth. The jar is covered inside and out with a pale blue-green clear glaze, stopping just above the footring...

A simple, elegant celadon bowl, Korean Koryo Period, 12 th Century, an early Koryo piece, which is right before Samgang style in 13th Century, decorated with a motif of flowers and scrolling vines embossed on the interior below an incised line. The grey-green glaze covers the entire piece except for three small spur marks on the recessed base; it displays a dense web or craze of lines...
