Chinese Jadeite Jade Pipe end, top is greenish and lighter green toward the bottom, 1 3/4" high, 1 3/8" diameter-top with small hole and other side has large open hole to fitted into the main pipe. There are some wear marks around the top and bottom rim, otherwise the condition is good.

Chinese Porcelain red glazed bowl dating to the 20th Century. The bowl has a maker's mark on the bottom and added spot drilled markings on the interior. The bowl appears to be a communal eating bowl with an owners marking. The interior mark translates to "battle ax" which may indicate it was used by a military man. Nabeshima hard porcelain dish. Okawachi kilns. Decoration in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze enamels. Although the model already exists at the beginning of the 18th century, we do not believe that the dish presented here is authentic. The enamels are perfect, one can distinguish with a magnifying glass discreet wear of use and the enamels show age cracks, but the cobalt blue on the reverse is too pale. It is not a modern copy, as it has been in the Sakura collection for about forty years...

It is 30.2 inches (76.7 cm) tall by 14 inches (35.6 cm) wide.

Meiji period, 1868-1912, 5 3/4" high, 9 3/4" diameter-widest measurement, with typical Imari overglaze decoration of egret, Foo Dog playing with balls inside the shaped enclosures on top of underglaze blue decoration with highlighted in gold, small sand kiln dots inside the bowl, no damages.
This Japanese Meiji period 6 sided porcelain chocolate pot was made for export to the Western markets. The chocolate pot has a lovely traditional Japanese scene which was hand painted, with bits of moriage detail. Excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, pot is 9.5 inches tall. A wonderful boxwood carved netsuke of five turtles climbing on top of each other. Intricate details can be seen throughout, creating a very realistic form. Each turtle has little black eyes.
