Against a ground of sky blue, five silver wired red crowned cranes busily groom themselves on this basse-taille vase of 7.5".

Condition: Immediately above the silver base rim, there is a discolored hairline that extends two thirds around the vase, the slender neck bears an oxidized fault more visible than that at the base.

This traditional embroidered vest was made and worn by the woman of the Miao minority culture living in the Ge Jia region of China generations ago. The textile fabric was hand woven with a specific thread count to allow for the geometric embroidery pattern which was added later.

Good porcelain blue and white Ming Dynasty bowl with abstract pattern of boats on water. There is one tiny flea bite chip on the rim noted in last enlargement, otherwise very good condition. D: 10.7cm/4.2in and H: 5.4cm/2.1in.

A pair of Burmese wooden seated disciples, with calm facial expression, lacquered and gilded with inlay of colorful glass pieces on the borders of the robes, one of them sitting in adoration posture with two hands attached to each other indicating respectful manner. This is a finely carved boxwood netsuke depicting the Skeleton of the Buddhist Priest Danka beating on a Mokugyo, or Buddhist Temple Drum. Very nice detail and wonderful symmetry all throughout, rich patina. It sports a chimney himotoshi that begins on the bottom of the mokugyo, and continues around the spine of the skeleton. A Fine Korean Traditional Folk Art Tiger and Magpie Painting-19th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasty, late 19th century, Framed without glass. Painted in ink and color on paper with tiger and magpie on a branch of pine tree, a tiger positioned of listening a message from messenger, a magpie, with good news. It’s in fine condition but has a small stain on the upper left. It measures 89cm x 51cm (35” x 20”) painting only, or 101cm x 76cm (40” x 30”) overall.
