This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin before 1920. The bowl measures 9 inches in diameter and is 2 1/2 inches high. The rim of the bowl is reticulated with tiny ribbons accenting the design. There is a flowing rhythm in the design that has an art nouveau feel. The center of the bowl is hand painted with luscious, ripe fruits and flowers. There is a rim of lacy gold around the inner rim of the bowl and gold accents around the reticulated border...
Burmese puppet head was mainly used in the puppet show. The string on top of the head can be pulled up to slide the tongue in and out of puppet's mouth. Due to the heavily used of puppets, the body and costumes are no longer survived.

This old Chinese hand made carpenters tool would have been used as a snapline just as the western metal chalk box and line are used today. Such tools were often hand made and passed from father to son for generations. This particular one has a small antler for a plumbob.

This covered vegetable dish was produced in France by Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It is 11 1/4 inches long, 8 inches wide and
5 1/2 inches high. The porcelain has molded poppies and scrolled edges and handles. It is decorated with art nouveau chrysanthemums. Heavy gilding is profusely used on the rims and handles. Delicate gilding is used to accent the design and to trim the borders.

The bowl has a puffy, blown-out shape, and three fancy gold feet. The decoration is in art nouveau style. It is a transfer design of baskets of flowers spilling over the edge. There are also roses and ribbons in the design. The rim is trimmed with gold and lacy gilding on the inside rim.

Small Guangxu ink well, circa 1880's, dense, heavy and beautiful. It could also have been used as a small brush washer and doubled as a document or paper weight when not in use. A group of four hand painted German porcelain cups and saucers by Helena Wolfsohn c1870s-80s. Each has fine floral decoration with garlands and gold trim and highlights, both inside and out. Each has a blue ground and all have the blue Wolfsohn backstamp (crowned D over Hand painted Dresden Saxony). One has "Handgemalt" instead of handpainted, and all have the gold rose overstamp. The cups stand 2" high and the saucers are 5-7/8" across, and each saucer also is stamped with a retailer stamp....
