This mask represents a tiger, note a very fine work of sculpture with the gouge, the deep carvings are highlighted with a white coloring. Very hard wood, the inside shows the natural patina of oxidized wood over time. Very good age likelu first part of the 20th or even earlier. H 21 cm, width 20 cm.

This hand painted Japanese ceramic bowl is an early or mid-20th century product. It is 7 1/8” in diameter and 3” high. It depicts white cherry blossoms and red maple leaves on a milk white crackled background inside and outside. There is a small finger pinch close to the rim. The stamped maker’s mark “Takamine” is near the bottom. It is in great condition.
A wood suzuri-bako (ink stone box or writing box) which has layers of colors of urushi inside. It has a memo that it belonged to a noted Japanese painter, however it is not proven. The first half of the 20th century. It has some hair lines and cracks in the painting. 17cm x 27cm x 4.8cm

Tibetan hand made Hard Silver Bangle Bracelet, mid 1900's, 2 5/8" wide, 1" high, 1 1/2" wide opening, with raised Tibetan Script on top of the Filigree design.
This Tibetan pipe was made and used for smoking hand rolled tobacco cigarettes only. The body of the pipe is antelope horn and according to the Tibetans, they stopped killing the antelope many years ago. Pipe is 8 inches long.
Very rare carving of the Three Wise Monkeys, sanzaru in Japanese, sitting on two logs. The one who hears no evil (kikazaru) and the one who speaks no evil (iwazaru) are sitting together. A little separated from them sits the one that sees no evil (mizaru). Carved in facet-cut (abstracted style) in soft cedar wood (sugi).
Signature in the bottom: Masahide.

Not your typical cloisonne, this beauty is simply one of the best quality that I have personally seen in many years, notice the graceful cranes and profuse floral that create perfect balance and harmony, the colors are intense and dazzle the eyes. This vase dates to the pre 1950 era and is free from any damages, this is the last of the truly artistic and well made cloisonne vases done in the old world manner. In excellent condition, it measures 10.5 inches high.
