A complete old Tibetan ladies purse made of Yak leather and inlaid with silver and gilt carvings with a center piece of Turquoise. The front has carvings of two fish (representing the beginning of life)and flower design. The back has a center tree design. There is a silver woven chain attached to the top for carrying. Six small sterling beakers with gilt interiors by Edward H. Stockwell of London. All are marked appropriately. Only the bottoms which show very light wear and very faint spotting have been polished. They measures 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" at the widest point.Total weight is 1.8ozs.

An authentic document signed by Gov. Alfred E Smith (NY) attesting to the fact that as requested by the Governor of Massachusetts he "surrendered" Fred W. Simmons, a fugitive from justice Dated August 17, 1927 . Smith's signature is in the lower right corner - it is also signed by counsel. The paper is folded and curled at the bottom edge; there are also two small puncture marks in the upper right corner.

A pair of large droplet shaped pendant lamps in cool green and blue murrines that resemble cells. An Ermanno Toso design from around 1960. The murrines are floating in a clear glass matrix on which they were gathered, heated, then blown.

Each hanging fixture has a satiny acid matte finish and is capped with a polished brass plate with loop for hanging. The brass plates appear to be original. The brass plates are held on by clips and can be removed to change the bulbs.

This very stylish shell cameo set in a 14Kt white gold filigree frame, dates back to the 1920-s. The 33 X 45 millimeter oval cameo depicts a bust of a lady with a diamond and emerald earring. The broach is extremely versatile since a fold down swivel type bail makes it wearable as a pendant as well.

A set of four vary rare blackwood Hungmu lady's side chairs. The chairs match as a pair except for the back panels. Two have a square and two have a circle. Meiji, 1880's, 22" high, 31" wide, 16" deep, Red lacquered leaf shape mon decoration with Kanji Characters, original woven rope handle in the back, and original Rice Paper lining inside. Some black lacquer finish pieces are off from the woven Bamboo surface.

A Remarkable Indian or East Asian offering Bowl on Stand, late 19th or early 20th century.

The bowl is cast and then finished by fine chisel work and engraving, all against an intricate punched ground. It features a myriad of hunters and animals, the trees seem full of game. On the hilly horizon can be seen various dwellings and pavilions, tiny birds in the sky. The base is an arrangement of three elephant heads supporting an acanthus cup on which sits the offering bowl.
