Superb Chinese Tomb Pottery figure of a mounted horseman, Dating to the Ming Dynasty 1368-1644 AD.

Finely detailed warrior on horseback holding a Grenade in his right hand. Fully equipped with detailed armor in cobolt blue and turqoise glaze. Other details in white, black and red pigment. A high quality figure, dating to the Middle Ming period, ca. 1500-1550 AD...

A very nice and quite interesting cylinder seal in a hard black stone with white inclusions on one side, Late-Assyrian to Neo-Assyrian period, c. 12th. cent.-9th. cent. AD.

A wonderful depiction of a 'Scorpioman' and a 'fishman', both depicted as winged matured men with long beards and pointy hats or helmets. Their lower bodies evolve into a fishtail and a scorpions tail. All within a heering pattern border.

A finely carved late- to Neo-Assyrian black stone cylinder seal, depicting a winged matured bearded deity with helmet hunting a running animal in high relief, above is star and crescent, mid-to late Assyrian.

Size: 21-22 mm. tall and 10 mm. wide.

Condition: Good Very fine and glossy, very sharp imprint.

Provenance: The Karl Müller collection, Germany 1950-1977. Comes with COA and hard imprints.

A wonderful style large black serpentine cylinder seal, showing a mounted King hunting a Bull in full freight, a bird in the top and symbols of the Sun and Moon, Middle-assyrian, 14th - 11th century BC.

The scene is quite rare with the detailed bearded mounted king.

Height: 35 mm. tall. and with a diameter of 11 mm.

Condition: Very fine, extremely fine details, but with a repaired hairline crack through the middle (professionally done)...

An attractive large Roman seal or signet ring, engraved intaglo in the silver of an amphora. The ring isself a typical male upper class silver ring, heavy and with high shoulders decorated with V-sections. The amphora is engraved into a seal on a stepped rectangular podium

Size: c. 27 mm tall and weighing 12,11 grams. The ring-size is c. 20 mm. by 20 mm., so average to larger male ring-finger size...

An exceptional stamp seal in a fine harder greyish green stone, Anatolia / Northern Syria c. 4th. millenium BC.

The base of the seal is engraved with a fantastic and very graphical depiction of a flock of birds in flight.

A superb Gable seal type with perfect symethri and sharp lines and the impressive size makes it worthy of any collection of early seals.

A fantastic quality Middle- or Neo-Assyrian cylinder seal of a tall and thick type, c. 12th.-8th. century BC.

The seal carved in a rare attractive green-black stone with an Archer and winged sphinx. Top and bottom with a fine herringbone band. Multiple symbols in the fields and the archer has a detailed quiver on his back.

Size: 41 mm. tall and 14-15 mm. thick...

A better large/thick Ushabti, Third Intermediate Period, 21/22th dynasty (ca 1085-713BC)

A blue-green faience shabti, wearing the headband and two hoes. Inscribed shabti with clear hieroglyphs at the lower front. Details are added in black.

Size: 10,3 cm.

Condition: Choice with intact painted details and nice patina.

A lovely and unusually large scaraboid seal, Middle-Neo-Assyrian, c. 12th.-9th. century BC.

Winged Deity, probably Ashur tending the Tree of Life, all within an oval frame. Stylized scarab carved in an attractive greenish brown stone.

Size: 32 mm. long and 27 mm. wide! Really amazing.

Condition: Extremely fine and with a lovely patina!

Provenance: Gustav Oberländer (1926-2012), Oberländer aquired his massive and important collection between 1985 - 20...

A nice wooden mummy mask of a smaller size, probably late period, mid-late 1st. millenium BC.

Size: 20,7 cm.

Condition: Intact with smaller losses and much wear. Remnants of pigments still visible on the surface in recesses.

Provenance: Old Bavarian collection from the 1930s and onwards.

An important and very interesting medieval floor tile, of a 13th.-14th. century English type, used in Noble houses, churches and monasteries in the period.

Size: 13,5-14 cm. on each side and very thick.

Condition: Intact and choice, with minimal detoriation of the glaze.

An attractive and substantial cylinder seal carved in bklac Haematite, Isin-Larsa period, Old Babylonian, ca. 2000 - 1800 BC.

The seal is carved with an introduction of the king to standing sun god with saw. Another worshipper or lesser deity is also depicted and there's and interesting large emblematic staff between them.

Height: 2.3cm, diameter: 1.1cm.

Condition: Nice VF for type and intact with even wear.

Assyrian Gold bow earring with granulated tip, ca. 1500 BC!

A wonderful earring around 3500 years old and in nice condition. Made of a narrow, flat gold band that tapers towards the ends.

Size: 1,7 cm. / Weight: ca. 0,74 gram.

A lovely patinated silver box, probably for betel Chewing. High grade silver!

Cylindrical container with mythical creatures and animals on the lid, body and bottom. An additional section inside. Very nice decoration and quite rarely seen as ornate from Burma.

Condition: About extremely fine, warm old patina.

A larger elaborate pottery figure of a female Courtisan, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to c. 1550-1600 AD.

A beautiful young woman, seen in motion forward, in an expensive dress, holding a small jar, standing on a square plint, she is glazed in fine Torquise and dark blue-brown colours. Ornate headdress with a diadem of torquise coloured roses.

An exceptional, unusually elaborate pottery figure of a female Courtisan, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to c. 1550-1600 AD.

Attractive lady, seen in motion, taking a step forward and clad in a large thick robe, draped halfway down, exposing her beautiful white skin. Imposing hairdress with roses and she is wearing a necklace. She holds a large incense burner, standing on a square plint. She is glazed in torquise and dark blue colours.
