Interesting Cuneiform tablet, slightly rectangular and inscribed on all sides with Cunei text, Mesopotamian, probably Arkadian Cunei, late 3rd. millenium BC.

A scarce set of four Danish Neolithic silex blades. Two daggers and two spear points, dating to Daggertime, 2200-2000 BC.

The blades are all very thin and skillfully knapped in antiquity. Two blades of lancet dagger type and two spear points / javelins.

A small set of three Danish Neolithic Axes, dating to 3rd-4th mill BC.

Lot consist of two polished and an unpolished axe.

The larger axe is a thinbutted type from the late 4th / early 3rd mill BC. The axe is almost completely polished on all four sides, which is a scarce feature. It also has writing in pencil the side - hard to read, though.

The two other axes are thinbladed in size and design...

A pair of nicely patinated Thinbladed Danish neolithic axes dating to the Singlegrave period, 3rd mill BC.

Lot consist of an unpolished, thinbutted type, and polished thickbutted type. But the smaller size indicates, that they were for a specific purpose in Antiquity, probably for precision wood-working.

Both axes have long, slim blades and sharp edges, almost like chisels but they are axes.

Shown mummiform, this exceptional large and beautiful Ushabti, still untranslated, probably represents an important nobleman. As quite rarely seen, the othervise greenish faience, came out as almost black in the kiln, so it looks almost like basalt, very attractive!

Reddish limestone. Animal battle scene with crossing bulls and crescent moon standard, worshippers in between. A larger seal in an attractive red-orange stone. Isin-Larsa period, Old Babylonian, ca. 2002-1594 BC.

Height 26 mm and diameter is 13 cm., so fairly thick.

Condition: Very fine, smooth wear but intact with a nice patina.

A rectagular bifacial stamp seal with a large handle in a black serpentine stone. The seal is carved with an impression of an animal in the handle as well as a larger depiction in the base of a deity standing on the back of a four-legged animal. The cast lamp with foot-ring, pear-shaped body and spreading nozzle, the handle terminating in a finely cast head of a horse with slightly open mouthThe circular hole in the nozzle holds the wick. Interestingly, BMC has an almost identical style lamp, reportedly found at Qasr Ibrim, an important archaeological site in Lower Nubia, in the south of modern-day Egypt, which was then part of the Roman empire.
