Antique Caucasian wool rug, hand-knotted in geometric pattern design. Dates from the early 20th century. Size: 3'7" x 5'9"

This early 20th century yellow vase mounted as a table lamp is 20” high, 6 ¼” wide and 4 ½” in depth. The vase is 8 ¼” high, 5” wide and 3 ½” in depth. On both the front and back, it depicts a 5 clawed dragon floating between the ocean and the clouds. Eight immortal symbols are on both sides. The vase had been drilled and mounted on a cut out and embossed brass base. It is in great condition.

A fine Edwardian 3-7/8 x 3-1/2" cedar lined square style hinged sterling silver cigarette box fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1912. This box has the maker's mark for S. A large and impressive image of olive-green soapstone (shoushanshi) depicting the demon-catcher Chonggui in martial pose standing above the small image of a seated demon disguised as a Buddhist monk. Extremely fine details. Late Qing Dynasty. H 24 cm. Condition: Excellent.

The basic fabric is a linen weave with black stripes. The ends are embroidered with a striped camel carrying a coffin to Mecca, in polychrome threads and decorated with fold silvered metal. Antique Chinese porcelain cricket cage of a gourd form. Its lid has reticulated air vents, enamel peonies and Chinese characters and gilt edge details. The cage front has enamel scene of a young boy and girl having tea in a field of flowers, with an inscription on the backside. Red four character mark on base.

Antique Japanese kyodai (box with drawers and mirror). Made with burled mulberry wood with intricate grain. The interior is all kiri (paulownia) wood with a wiped lacquer finish inside the drawers. Description: A fine Japanese bamboo arm rest carving with motif of the legend story-Damo crossing river by a single branch of reeds. With light brownish patina, this brush rest was carved by a mature bamboo carver whose inscription was left with the motif. Date: 19th Century Length: 18.5cm

A book cover made for a Qur'an, the originating country being North African or in the Middle East. A coarse weave is embroidered with red in counted stitch and with metal wrapped thread. The back with padded embroidery. The inside with very soft white leather. Condition: some wear and leather with few stains and two corners unstuck. Dimension opened: 22.2 cm x 28.5 cm.

A Chinese jade vase of spinach hue with darker splashes; it is carved on both sides of the body with flower head scrolls, the shoulders are decorated with elephant heads and mobile rings. The cover terminates with a knob carved in a fluted design. Beautifully carved and in excellent condition, this is a highly impressive and decorative object. size: 10 1/2 inches ( 26.5cm) high. age: late Qing/early Republic.

Description: Striking and well crafted Persian hand made silver dish, Decorated in high relief with scenes depicting Archaemennid king Darius fighting mythological beast and also Archaemennid's religious and monarchy's symbolic figures on center surrounded by engraved foliage. A small Chinese porcelain cup with Qingbai light blue-green crackle glaze and very thin form. The rim is ebbed like flower petals and the interior has been incised to look like the inside of a flower. Song Dynasty (960 - 1279) Size: 2.25" height, 3" width

A small porcelain iron red overglaze water coup decorated with dragons set among scrolling clouds. The iron red style was developed in the Ming dynasty and in the Qing various styles were expanded. Additionally, with the continuity of the literati tradition, various objects were being produced and one was the water coup which is essential in producing ink for calligraphy. The water coup contains an inscription reading Da qing xiangfeng nian xin. (1851-1861). Size: height 2.25" diameter 2.8"

Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a pair of peanuts with leaves and vines growing out of their top, and a small chimera crawling along the bottom with its legs and tails pointed upwards. Peanuts are called "huasheng" in Chinese, and are considered a lucky charm for those wishing to have many children as "sheng" means "giving birth". The top of the carving has a pierced hole to be hung from a toggle. Size: 2" length, 1" thickness

Finely painted to depict five-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl, raised on short foot ring, base having six-character Guangxu mark in underglaze iron red and possibly of the period, 2.5"H X 6.25"D, circa late 19th/early 20th century. Condition Report; Excellent Condition.
