A rare bronze seal with a loop on the back and a beautiful sun-symbol on it's face, Bactria, 3rd. millenium BC.

The seal of good metal and very massive bronze, interesting variant from the usual compartement seals and much rarer.

Japanese Bronze Shrine or Temple Bell with attached long rope, 19th century, 5" high, 4 1/2" wide for Bell only, pellet is inside and ring nicely, in original old condition.

This is a japanese antique indigo dye thick hemp katazome Plaid long Roll textile. It is a handspun & natural indigo dye katazome. There is no stain.There is no damage and it is in very good condition. Size:Length:1143cm(37.49ft) / Width: 33cm(12.9inch)

A wonderful idyllic scene of a girl gathering flowers in a hat. Near her is a lake with cows watering, while in the immediate background is another group of cows and a young girl. The far background has trees and a house. The charming naïve style, and the inclusion so many items of interest combine to make this work an exceptional piece.

Often even simple watercolors of this age have substantial condition issues, ranging from tears, stain, folds, di89scolrations, etc...

Girl's kimono made of hamp, made in Ohmi region in Shiga prefecture, and it is called Ohmi-jofu. It has kasuri pattern, whose motifs are phoenix, cloud and flower. Warps are machine-spun and wefts are hand-plied. Red cloth inside is silk. Meiji period (1868~1912) In excellent condition. W:97cm, L:107cm

Attractive blackstone cylinder seal, Eastern Anatolia, Hattite/Hittite period of the 2nd. millenium BC.

The seal depicts a large horned animal, probably an antilope, and a much smaller capride, Tree of Life as spacer. Interestingly, the seal is hollowed out perfectly to a high degree.

Condition: Choice VF, Attractive with redish dessert patina in the devices...

5 panels of noren made of asa (hemp) whose wefts and warps are hand-plied and vegetable indigo dyed. The top hem and belts are hand-spun and vegetable indigo dyed cotton. The beige stripes are cotton threads. In excellent condition. 19th century. 160cm x 138cm

Victorian Classical sterling silver tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Solid oval well with curved sides. Shoulder wide with chased flowers, scrolls, and open diaper in scrolled cartouches. Rim has applied leafing scrolls, flowerheads, and scallop shells. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11239 (first produced in 1892), and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition.

Antique Korean porcelain bottle of an octagonal faceted form, with long neck fluting slightly at the rim, covered in a translucent crackle white celadon glaze. The foot is deeply recessed with buff edges.

Fine English Glass Tazza, with the hollow stem composed of a three ringed annulated knop above a single knop on a domed and folded foot. C1720/40. Dia. 9 7/8", (25.2cm). Condition; perfect.

Ten creamware dinner plates, transfer printed in puce with a cottage, a farmboy and cattle within a lace border, the outer rim with hand painted vine leaves, also in puce (one vine wreath partly in orange). From Herculaneum in Liverpool c 1810, all with the impressed mark of the pottery as a straight line, in the style of Wedgwood, the name of the pottery also competing with Wedgwood’s Etruria. Diameter "10 / 25.5 cm. Condition: all fine except for a hairline to one of the plates.

Indian Sri Cakra Yantra. Red and black ink on old cotton. 66 cm.sq. Undated. 2 areas of losses as shown in photos. Black ink inscription on right side. Currently framed, can be removed and sent folded worldwide.

Antique Japanese suiseki, a stone for contemplation. The art of suiseki viewing stones emphasizes an appreciation for the natural formations. Each stone tells a story not only of it's geological creation but of it's path through time, how it has been shaped by other elements like wind and water. Viewing a stone such as this, a person can feel transported to a world where the stone is a mountain (or a sleeping dragon) and the viewer is quite small...

The Japanese tantutu pistol has a octagonal russet iron barrel, with flat sighting plains on top and bore of 3/8". A stock dai of Keyaki wood and brass plate jiita of the arquebus's firing mechanism. Mounted for display on a custom museum iron mount.

Eight lobed inlayed Japanese lacquered dish. Each lobe is decorated in makie, the flora and fauna of the four seasons with archaic designs set in between. The central area of the dish is depicting a female figure holding a lotus with a child attendant holding a bouquet of lotuses. The bottom is crafted in the nashiji style with a signature set in a medallion motif reading: Kaneko Zo, or Produced by Kaneko. Age: Meiji Period Size: Diameter 8.25" Height 1.5"
