Five chinese blue and white tea cups made for the Japanese market. Grey/white glaze and underglaze cobalt blue of a deep indigo color depicts birds and flowers in a whimsical design. The cups were used in the Japanese tea ceremony. Fretting on the edges. 17th century. Cups measure 5" at lip.

Art Nouveau sterling silver trophy cup. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Urn on tall and spread foot; double-scroll side handles. Chased semi-abstract tendrils terminating in volute scrolls, garlands, and pendant flowers. A fluid, slightly hallucinatory take on traditional ornament. Gilt-washed interior. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 8637, director’s letter T (1892-1902), and volume (3 pints). Excellent condition.

19th century lacquer netsuke of a female butterfly dancer with a fan in her hand, and wearing wings behind her back. Unusual subject, beautiful face, excellent flow of her flying sleeves, extraordinary lacquer work depicting various textile patterns, in perfect condition. Height 1.53 inches.

German 800 silver figural wedding cup, ca 1920. A Baroque dame with snug-fitting bodice and wide and raised lace collar holds aloft scrolled-brackets with swing-mounted double-domed lobed and garlanded bowl. Second larger bowl in form of conical skirt with patterned fabrics and delineated folds and hang. Ornament chased and engraved. Hanau maker’s mark (Neresheimer). Very good condition with nice patina.

Unusual Japanese single section isho tansu from the Sendai region, made of solid Keyaki (zelkova) hardwood with burl front panels. The iron hardware and mounts have floral motifs throughout. The corner plates have scalloped edges, the drawer pulls are mokko (melon) shaped with chrysanthemums mounts, the round lock plates are incised with Kiri leaf mon and two are outlined with scrolling vine motifs. Qianlong mark, but probably early 1900s

This baluster-shaped vase is well-potted and rather stout and heavy. Two elephant head handles, in imitation of a bronze form, adorn the sides of the neck. The exterior is covered overall in a puce colored glaze over which a bird, flower, and landscape scene is very finely painted in raised enamels in various colors. Enamel shading is employed throughout the scene and is particularly effective on the flowers...

This is an authentic antique cloisonné enamel teapot from late 19th century Japan, made during the Meiji period. The teapot is of an inverted baluster shape and rests on a tall flared foot. It has a side handle, a long spout, and a domed lid with a chrysanthemum knob. The teapot is decorated with beautiful floral and butterfly motifs set against a turquoise and dark blue background...

Large bronze vase depicting an egret, in relief, on a perch in the center of a watercourse, surrounded by four swimming fish. The figure of the egret emerges from the vase with remarkable three-dimensionality and depth. Signature engraved under the base within a rectangular reserve. A lovely wood carving of a pair from Bali. Meticulously carved and painted, the man with keris and the woman holding an offering, standing on a base. Condition: the base with some cracks and a small loss, the hilt of the keris glued, paint with few losses and wear. Dimension: c. 27 cm high.

This is a child kimono worn in the Taisho era. As for this, thin silk expresses a pattern in Shibori. Thin cotton is in this for thermal insulation inside. This does not have a stain and damage. The state is very good. Size 78cm x 70cm (30.7 "x 27.5")

Antique Japanese low Todana tansu with one large drawer and a compartment opened with sliding panels. Mostly made of Sakuranoki (Cherry) wood, the sliders have horizontal slats over Keyaki (Zelkova) wood panels. As well, the side panels of the tansu are also made of Keyaki. The sides and back of the tansu are reinforced with sakura wood bracing. Hardware includes iron Warabite drawer pulls and lock on sliding panels...

A Pair of bronze Coins was issued by Wang Mang 王莽 of the short-lived Xin dynasty新朝（AD9年－23年） 。
The 'hanging needle' script on the coin is special.

Chinese Huanghuali altar table, its front and side aprons carved with dragons and fireballs. The side panels between the table's legs are carved with reticulated motifs of scrolls and dragons. The table's surface woodgrain shows many distinct "ghost eyes" associated with Huanghuali wood.
