This is a rare late Ming dynasty (1368~1615) carved bamboo statue. It depicts a bearded warrior on a horse. The rider¡¯s head is raised up, eyes wide open; his left arm is gently holding the bridle. The tired horse has turned its head toward its master. It is a superb carving and in great condition despite its age. H: 12 inches, L: 7 inches, W: 6 inches

Miniature Korean antique bandaji (trunk) for storing small personal items. Made of elm wood with beautiful hardware. The upper portion has door that opens from the front to reveal two small interior drawers. The bottom portion has two small doors which open to a single compartment. The chest stands on curved feet. Comes with a traditional Korean fish lock and key.

Set of 4 Edwardian sterling silver figural place card holders. Made by Levi & Salaman in Birmingham 1906. Each: Pair of perched owls with scrolled back clip; raised and round base. Chinese canton enamel box with slightly domed lid. The sides and top finely painted with scholars in landscape setting in famille rose palette. Interior with turquoise enamel. Condition: good - considering the delicate nature of enamel, rim of box with two very small retouchings and and sides of lid with three tiny enamel losses and few stress lines. Dimension: diameter: 10.2 cm, 6 cm high.

A fine example of First Period, Dr. John Wall, Worcester botanical fluted porcelain bowl having a blue rim decorated with gold. Mark on bottom with Sotheby’s sticker. This bowl is a rare survivor of this early period and is in excellent condition. Circa 1755-1774. Measures 6.5" diameter, 3" high.
