Chinese pair of hardwood chairs with Dramatic marble graining inset into the back of each chair. Elegant scroll designs are used throughout the carving of the hardwood. Beautiful original dark hardwood finish in wonderful condition. Each chair is very heavy in weight.

A nice early antique cloth doll with an amazing brown calico dress. She has a sweet ink drawn face with big round eyes. She has applied black fabric on the back of her head representing hair. She has an hour glass body with a tiny waist. Under her calico dress is a early petticoat and pantaloons. She has sewn on brown polished cotton fabric shoes or boots. Her dress is sewn on and the dress is fragile. The hem either never was done or it has more than likely been cut off to accommodate this doll...

Meiji Era (around 1910) Samurai Tea Bowl with fantastic painting, marked on the bottom 'Heian'.

White porcelain from Kyo ware is coated with vivid silver glaze and a handpainting of ocean, clouds and a kabuto (a Japanese amor samurai helmet).

Traces of gold gilt essentiate his bearded continence, his gilt hands hold a "hu" in front of his chest, his hemmed robe is incised with cloud patterns. Antique Japanese tall rectangular form basket for ikebana flower arrangements. Made of split bamboo woven tightly in a vertical zigzag pattern. The corners have larger sections of bamboo that end in four feet. The bamboo has been left it's natural color and acquired an attractive patina over time.
