A Chinese Blue White Ewer from the 16th/17th century. Height approximately 21 cm. The tip spout and part of the rim have been repaired.
Chinese Ge-type small water pot. 5 cm diameter.
This large Japanese late Meiji (1867~1911) ivory carving is 14 ¼” high, 4” wide and 2 ¾” in depth. It depicts a smiling sage carrying a fan in his left hand and holding a long staff in his right hand. A rolled up scroll is tied to the top of the staff. Aside from a few hair line cracks due to age and size, it is in good condition. More detailed photos are available.
A pair of Chinese porcelain bowls decorated with peonies. The bowl contains a short poetic inscription which generally states: As if (one is) cherishing the beautiful, likewise at the moment (the flowers) are displaying its colors. The bottom of the bowl contains a mark reading, Yongzheng Nianxing. Age: Republic Period. Size: diameter: 4.3" height 2"
This is Tsutsugaki Yogi of the indigo dyeing tea service set of the Edo era. The cotton is spun by hand and is very thick. A color of the cloth is deep green. The green dyeing needs a technique higher than the dyeing only for indigo plants. Therefore it is a color required to the item of the upper class. Fine Blanc De Chine figure of Guanyin wearing long flowing robes. Seated on a rockwork throne, with an open book in one hand and holding a boy on her lap with the other, between a vase with applied prunus and a bird, above two well modelled acolytes, the Jade Maiden, Longnu and the Golden Youth, Shoukai. Kangxi C1690/1700. Ht.8.0" (20.2cm). Condition: excellent, a 0.6cm glaze crack in the firing fault on her back.
A late Edo iron tsuba with chisled decoration of a pine trunk and boughs on one side and flowering prunus blossom with bamboo on the other side. The three representations comprising the "Three Friends of Winter". The simplicity of the chiseled smooth surface successfully imitating sumi-e painting. Very rare early Ming Dynasty Hongzhi period ( 1488 - 1505 ) blue and white bowl with Tibetian Sanskrit inscriptions.
There are also bowls of this type from the Ming Wanli period, but for Wanli the glaze of this rare bowl is too white, and so this bowl definately is from the Hongzhi or Chenghua period.
Perfect condition . D : 13,4 cm.

Antique Chinese porcelain tray with gilt edges, its inside finely decorated with oceanside scenery in light glaze colors that are quite pleasing to the eye. Several small people can be seen kneeling, strolling along the water, and riding in a small boat. Very finely painted with excellent detail.
The tray is stamped with the mark of Wang Yu Tang, early 20th century.

A beautiful set of four c1775 English wine glasses, engraved with a scene of horsemen, hounds, foxes, and a house, the lower part of the ogee bowls cut and the stems with facet cutting.
The glasses are 5 1/8" tall, with a bowl diameter of 2", and a generous 2 3/4" foot diameter. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Good color and striations, and a rough, snapped pontil
This is rinzu silk fukusa textile in Edo period(1603-1867).
It is an elegant design with good history of the bamboo and bamboo shoots. All embroideries are the hands. There is no stain. There is one very little small hole. However, it is very good.
