This is a finely carved and lacquered wood Ojime in the form of a Daruma Toy or "Okiagari Koboshi", meaning the little priest that gets up. The center cord hole or himotoshi are lined with shakudo or copper and gold alloy. Signed Hoshin in the back of the Daruma.
Ojime measures 0.63 inches (1.6cm) in diameter, and 0.80 inches (2.0cm) tall. It is in excellent condition as may be seen in the posted photos.

Early 19th century suigaraake (ashtray) netsuke with round silvered bronze body, cloisonne outside and a swinging loop for hanging. A pair of English Staffordshire ”Imari” plates, the decoration painted in under-glaze blue and enameled, the rims lustre-glazed. The backs with a printed mark Ironstone China. Early Victorian, c 1830-40. Mason’s was the first manufacturer to launch Ironstone ware but many others were to follow. Diameter "9¾ / 24,5 cm. Condition: some crackling to the glaze to one plate, and a small chip to the underside of the rim (cf. pics).

Early Victorian or late Georgian half hoop 7 stone ring with 7 well matched turquoise stones set in cabochon, with the largest turquoise in the center and each stone graduated in size, as is typical of a hand carved Georgian ring. The borders of each stone are crimped, an attractive detail. The shoulders of the ring are chased in a lovely hand carved pattern. The back of the stones reveal lovely hand carved gold work. The ring can be sized up or down within reason.
