Two matching small Imari dishes with high quality applied decoration, including the "three gentlemen" at the center of each dish (pine, bamboo, and plum blossom). The dishes have a scalloped edge, and have a stylized Ching Dynasty, Yung Cheng, reign mark on the recessed base. A picturastic painting was done very well on wood in 19th century.
It was painted with mineral pigments and was kept nicely in aged mood.
No cracks or restorations were found.
It still needs a frame work to be as a hanging piece.
