This early 20th century carved ivory statue is 8 inches tall (with base, it is 9 inches tall), 4 ½ inches wide and 2 inches thick. The scene depicts three ladies chatting in front of a pine tree. There is a mountain surrounded by clouds and a palace on the top of the mountain. This statue is carved from three assembled pieces of ivory. It is in good condition.

A splendid and unusually large tetsubin decorated with geometric patterns with peonies and butterflies set within a frame. This piece is a collaboration of two major artists. The body has a seal by the kama-shi or tea kettle maker, Okuni Jurou, and the lid is signed by Kinryudo. Okuni Jurou, along with his father Okuni Toubei were famous for their skill and artistry during the Meiji and Taisho Periods. Condition is original and excellent. Size: Diameter 9.5" Height 14"

Song - Yuan dynasty longquan celadon large plate with twin fish motif, good condition size: 21.5 cm diameter.

Faience shabti inscribed with six lines of horizontal text starting just below the crossed arms.
The spell reads: ‘The Governor of Upper Egypt, Anhh-Hor, he speaks, oh, this shabti’ and is followed by version VII-A of the shabti spell.
The inscription shows an exceptional orthography and archaic vocabulary reminiscent of the renaissance of ancient Egyptian culture at the beginning of the 26th Dynasty.

Antique Tibetan pair of offering bowls. Each bowl is carved of burl wood and has an ornate silver foot decorated with cabochons of coral and turquoise. The silver bottom of each bowl is incised with a scene of mother and baby fu lions. The bowls have interiors that have been lined and edged with silver.

Japanese Edo period woodblock print by Toyokuni III (also known as Kunisada) depicting the actor Nakamura Shikan in a dramatic scene with a knife clenched between his teeth and his arm penetrating a Japanese paper folding screen. 18th/19th century small votive Indian bronze sculpture of Nandi - the vehicle of Shiva, or sometimes considered to be a form of Shiva himself. It rests in its usual position wearing rich trappings in front of a Shiva lingam altar, and there is a pile of offerings by his raised foot. Very neat casting and detailing, great patina, compressed dust in crevices and traces of sandalwood paste used during worship. Very good devotional object, wonderful feel of age to the piece. Length 2 1/2 inches.

Circa 1470-1532 AD pre-Columbian Inca ritual offering vessel Conopa in the shape of a Llama. Hand carved from a fine brown grained stone, then polished with sand and water, with a hole in its back called a "qocha" (lagoon) the container for offerings during the ceremony "haywarisqa" (ceremony of offerings). Llama fat and blood mixed with coca leaves were presented to the gods.
