A rare INDO-PERSIAN Mughal Khanjar Dagger with a curved and finely damascended PAMOR blade. The scabbard/sheath and handle/blade are intricately and very finely inlaid with Gold and Silver detailing designs. The wonderfully shaped handle is exquisitely hand crafted as a 3-dimensional Lion's head. The dominant dense Pamor pattern of the blade resembles irregular annual rings of a tree trunk. A rare Kashmir teapot with hinged lid standing on three small feet. The metal base, here copper or bronze, was first engraved with special tools to create the design in relief, the grooves were later filled with glass and then embellished with additional engraving and shiny gilding. Colorful expression and form. Natural himotoshi formed by the arms of the wrestler. Unsigned. This netsuke measures 0.82 inches (21cm) wide, and 1.33 inches (33cm0 tall.

Carved to fit the hand perfectly, this Japanese ivory page turner offers elegant design combined with function. The artists skill becomes even more evident when the page turner is held. In excellent condition save for one small shallow chip about 2-3 mm, see last photo, very hard to see, but can be felt if you run your finger slowly along the blade. This jade (jadeite) pendant is 2 3/8” long, 1 3/4” wide and 5/16” thick. It is an early 20th century product. It is carved on both sides as a carp with lotus leaf and some small unknown flowers. It was designed and carved in an ingenious way, using the green part of the stone as the carp and the white translucent part as the lotus leaf. It is in great condition.

Antique Japanese ranma (transom). Carved from sugi wood on both sides with a scene of a blossoming plum tree and stalks of bamboo. Framed in black lacquered hinoki wood. This architectural detail would have been built into a Japanese home usually over a door or window.
