This early 20th century ceramic table screen is 7 inches tall, 5 ¼ inches wide and 2 ¼ inches deep. The front middle panel depicts landscapes; the side panels depict flowers and mushrooms. Superb 3 paneled weaving from the Zhuang ethnic group in Guangxi Zhuang, Southern China. The body is woven from very fine handmade cotton thread while the weft supplementary embroidery is done with silk floss threads (the small blue indigo medallions are done with cotton). Quite a heavy piece because of all the embroidery. L: 161cm/63in and W: 100cm/39in.circa first half of the 20th century.

Chinese Hardwood and white mottled Natural Marble top round Stool/table, circa later part of 1800's, 19 1/4" high, 13 1/4" diameter on top, with curved legs connecting with stretcher in the lower part and another X stretcher immediately under the marble top. The decoration of a Dragon is at all rare to find on Ming Dynasty Minyao blue and white pieces. Still much rarer to find is such a Dragon bowl in a large and perfect condition like it is this bowl. This is a circular copper scholar’s ink box with etching of a love poem on top of the cover.
