Intricately carved white jade lidded vase, standing on high foot, exquisitely detailed with pierced carved Hu-birds as handles on either side of oval shaped body, rings of jade are carved to hang free, lid with lotus shaped finial. Republic period. Size: 7" high x 4" length x 2" deep

This traditional Chinese woman's headband was made and worn during the Qing Dynasty toward the end of the 19th century. It has an applique embroidered butterfly on each end and a large full kingfisher feathered medallion in the center. The lotus shaped kingfisher is 4 inches x 2 inches. The entire headband in 16 inches in length.

It is yuzen-dye silk Child kimono textile of the last part of Edo era(1800-1868). It is the design which is beautiful with a mandarin duck and the beauty of the cherry tree. It has the change of a slight color. However, there is not the stain remarkably. The sleeve has slight damage. However, it is very good condition generally. size:95cm x 83cm (37.4" x 32.6")

This very well molded and colored late 19th century sitting Guan Yin is 9 ½” high, 4 ¾” wide and 3 ½” deep. It depicts Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) holding a RuYi scepter and pearl sitting on a double lotus seat. Aside from a crack line on the back due to firing, it is in excellent condition.

This small Japanese ivory okimono is a mid-19th century product. It is 4 1/8″ high, 1 3/4″ wide and 1 1/4″ thick. It depicts a smiling fisherman standing on the shore. The fisherman is wearing a traditional bandanna and a straw apron. He uses both hands to pull a fish net in. The artist’s signature “Gyokudo” is on the base. Aside from some old repairs and crack lines due to its age, it is in good condition.

This dish bears a six character Guangxu kaishu reign mark in iron-red, but in our opinion, the glaze and enamels suggest early 20th century republic period.

This unusually shaped carved bone snuff bottle is a late Meiji period (1867~1911) product. It is 2 3/4” long, 1 ¼” wide and ¾” thick. It depicts a curled shrimp as the body of snuff bottle. The bamboo spoon is a replacement. It has a great patina and is in great condition.

This vase is of a fine, stately hexagonal shape, molded with archaic kuilong designs reminiscent of ancient Chinese bronze work. The celadon glaze is delicate in its greenish-blue shade, and quite thick. The paste is also quite good for 19th century.

This despite it´s condition still absolutely beautiful piece belonged to the former personal collection of the old Hj. Syamsuddin, the well known former Antiques-shop owner from Bali and Makassar. A large very decorative porcelain jar resp. flower-pot, decorated with a moulded decoration of 2 dragons and glazed with a very nice blue-green Celadon glaze. It seems that this jar was produced as a flower-pot because there is a hole to the bottom of the jar from the time when the jar was produced and it seems that this hole was closed later, most probably already a long time ago. Eighteenth to nineteenth centuries. H : 26,4 cm. Diameter : 23,2 cm. Condition : Perfect.

This is japanese Indigo dye shibori cotton kimono textile of the Meiji era(1868-1910). It has a few thin stains. However, it does not have damage.It is made of hand-spun natural indigo dyed cotton. Japanese food container, at times known as a jikiro, where food items are placed inside the container. In tea ceremony, the object is used to place sweets inside. The object is done in black lacquer with makie decorated with a motif of a peony. Inside the container is decorated with gold in the style known as Nashiji, or pear skin. Age: 20th century. Size: Diameter 8" Height 4.75"

A letter open done in mixed metal with motif of cranes, chrysanthemums, magnolia-like flowers, and other flowering plants. The letter opener contains a signature that is difficult to read. Age: Meiji Period. Size: Length 13" Width 1.5"

A coin silver cigar band with a primitive, stamped, coin-silver button ring, circa 1890-1900. Similar examples of this button can be found in, "Indian Silver Jewelery of the Southwest 1868-1930," by Larry Frank. Page 66, item 68 shows a very similar set of six stamped buttons with a high domed centers circa 1890s, found at Hopi in 1911.

The light grey ware burnt brown in the firing. Guan´, the official ware of the southern Song court, is perhaps the most admired and desirable of all Chinese ceramics.
