Its a Shino Chawan with fantastic glaze and a perfect kintsugi gold repair. Once you hold it in your hands you will refuse to give it back. It dates back to the middle Edo Period and comes with an old wood box.

A rare and finely carved 18th Century Chinese "honey yellow" soapstone Luohan, probably Damo (Bodhidarma). On the back is carved "made by Shang Jun". Condition - very good. This item was originally set with semi-precious stones but, with the exception of one white stone on the collar behind the neck, all are now missing; there are natural "flaws" intrinsic to the stone which pre-date the carving. There have been no repairs and there has been no restoration. 9cm (3.5ins) high...

Another wonderful and large Chinese Buddha Bronze statue, approx. 18th century (Qing Dynasty), sitting on a square base, with a height of 38 cm and a width of 24 cm, weight 4,95 KG.

This is sashiko hanten in Edo period. It is the one of Kyoto. It is sashiko stitch to the indigo dye cotton with a white string. It is a lobster and a motif of asanoha (flax ornament) and mizukuruma (water mill). It is a motif with very good history. All sashiko is embroidered by the hand. It is very impressive. There are a little stain and a small hole. There is a repair mark. However, the state is very good. Cotton is thick and nice touch. It is a valuable excellent article...

Wonderful and complete sculpture of Padmavati, a Hindu goddess who is worshipped as an aspect of the goddess Lakshmi, but who also plays an important role in Jainisme as the protecting goddess of the 23rd Tirthankara. (note the Tirthankara figure on her forehead. H. 22 cm (9 inches). Condition: excellent, nice wear due to intensive worshipping (Puja). Original back plate. Provenance: private collection Belgium.

Painted in a rich cobalt blue under the glaze with rapid brush strokes in a zenga-like manner, depicting a scholar in his studio. The literatus leans against his table on top of which is placed a brush pot and incense burner. Part of his garden is visible in the background and a six-character poem is seen penned on the upper-left...

Statue of a "lohan" (Buddhist holy man) standing on a tall rounded base, his hands originally holding an implement (now gone). Votive box open at the back (lid missing). Wood, with large remnants of black and red lacquering, and gilding on face and hands. China, 18th century. Height: 18" (45 cm). Obvious signs of great age, otherwise very good condition.
