A nearly Imperial quality piece. Ming Chengua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) decorated with " Ruyi " scroll. Extremely well potted body, a wonderful very white silky glaze and exclusively painted in the for Chenghua tylical watery blue. The rim covered with solid gold with a solid golden lid. Diameter : 9 cm. H : 7,5 cm. without lid. ( With lid : 9,2 cm. ) Condition : All visible parts of the porcelain body are in a absolutely perfect condition.

Cotton Kurume kasuri futonji with bold kasuri with asagi (light blue). Kurume in Fukuoka Pref. in Kyushu has been one of the main product places of indigo dyed cotton kasuri since late Edo period (early 19th century). Wonderful Large sized porcelain antique Chinese planter with hole at bottom, vibrantly illustrated fu dog characters in a playful sky setting among clouds, grasping ball and ribbons. Pedestal is dark hardwood with round claw foot legs. The piece is consigned from a prominent Thailand Collection which states that the jar is Kangxi period and the stand dates from the 19th century. Japanese zenibako (money safe box) made with Keyaki (zelkova) burl wood in original red lacquer finish. The zenibako is fitted with brass hardware including side handles in a mokko (melon) motif. The hinged lid has a large front lock plate with matching key, and a calligraphy inscription on the underside. The interior of the zenibako holds two open compartments.

This is the fourth piece of the rare collection of Song Dynasty fluted cups. A extremely rare museum quality fluted cup. The only one piece in the collection which is from the northen Song period. Perfect potted Porcellaneous stoneware body covered with a very nice olive-green Yaozhou glaze to above the foot-rim. D : 9 cm. H : 5,4 cm. Yaozhou kilns, Shaanxi province. Northern Song period, 11th - 12th century...

This male figure, molded in the manner of the English Staffordshire tradition, carries a swooning lady on his shoulders, with a snake hanging from his neck. Facial features and clothing details are painted in colorful overglaze enamels. On the base is a factory mark in an oval cartouche. There is some wear, soiling, and minor glazing flaws, but no repairs or damages.

A 17th/18th Century jar (without cover) painted in under glaze blue with two Qilin (each standing amongst cloud scrolls and flames) reserved against a prunus blossom / "cracked ice" ground. This item was made in China during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 12.7cm (5 inches) high.

A nicely carved natural amber bottle with two crane birds, one on each side with floral designs. The crane represents longevity and also a symbol of age. Size: H. 4.5cm. W. 3.9cm. Condition: No repairs or chips.
