The globular body, set on a raised and recessed ring foot, and with
everted rim, well decorated under glaze blue with two sprays of fruiting
cutrine and two tasseled cash motifs below a band of Ruyi patern around neck.
It’s in very fine condition without any chips or repairs.
It measures 12.5cm h. x 15.5cm d.

This antique Chinese offering cup would have been filled with water for Buddha and left at the temple alter. It dates from WanLi Reign during the Ming Dynasty.
The cup is black lacquer, peach shaped for long life, has a footed bottom, and ornate finger stops on each side. It has several nicks and chips as is appropriate for its age. The cup is 1.25 inches high and 3 inches across at the widest point.

Miyako-jofu woman's kimono with fine kasuri which is hand-woven of choma (ramie) and dyed with Ryukyu-ai. Wefts and warps are hand plied. Miyako-jofu has been woven in Miyako Island in Okinawa since 14th century. It was called "Satsuma-jofu" in Edo period as the island belonged to Satsuma feudal domain. It was imposed as tax. This superb late 19th century export ivory carving is 11 ¾” high, 4 ½” wide and 3 ¾” thick. It depicts daily activity in a small village. There are houses, temples and pagodas surrounded by a river, a forest of pine trees and mountains. There is an old repair on a pine tree, some small losses and several hairline cracks on the top of the tusk. Considering its age, it is in great condition.
Antique Chinese pair of blue and white vases with interesting cobalt underglaze panels of oceanside scene, separated by geometric designs. Each vase has a fluted rim, and recessed areas where the geometric patterns show. The bottoms have a cobalt blue double ring, 18th/19th century.

Chinese Famille Jaune Ginger Jar, 8 1/4" high, 8 1/2"-widest area, 3 3/4" diameter-top rim, 7" diameter-bottom rim, made during late 1800's to early part of 1900's, thick overglaze Polychrome design on the entire body with Peony flowers and vines with Chinese Character in four(4) circle windows. Star crack on the bottom which stained over the years and scratch on the glaze on the raised decorated surface.
