A lovely bronze water basin was preserved in nice patina.
With an inscription Chen down underside, the basin was in adequate weight comparing with its size.
It was a typical scholar item in small size, whatsoever still owned the strong scholar taste.

Antique Japanese large Buddhist altar table. Made of carved and lacquered wood and decorated with many petalled chrysanthemums. The kiri blossom in the center is the mon used by the Toyotomi clan. Dramatically curved legs and flanged top. Covered in a warm gilt lacquer finish. The table top is lacquered black.

Very unusual 19th century netsuke in a shape of an old cherry trunk with a newly blooming branch. Extraordinary elegant design in Japanese taste, mother of pearl inlaid flowers with use of lacquer at their bases, excellent patina. Length 3.9 inches (99 mm).
This is a 19th century, Molded and Enameled Snuff Bottle, of flattened ovoid form, with shoulders slopping to a waisted neck and everted mouth rim, tapering toward a slightly concave oval foot, molded with a dragon that is enveloping the entire piece. It has been carved and colored to look like cinnabar lacquer...
Pair Chinese Famille Rose Wall Pocket, hanging Wall Vase, later part of 1800's, 10 1/2" high, 4 1/4" wide-widest part, 2 1/2" deep top area, overglazed Famille Rose decoration of Mother and child in the garden scenery within the border of low relief pattern of the Ruyi Head. Chinese letters written on the upper right side. The condition is good.
Interesting cylinder seal carved in greyish black stone, with worshippers standing either side of the Tree of Life, with the winged emblem of Ashur / Assur above. Nice Neo-Assyrian style and fine details.

Antique Chinese Rose canton teapot decorated with flowers, birds, and butterflies and scenes of court life. Two women sit on cushions watching a monk walk by while a young man looks on the scene from a window. Circa 1885, no mark on the bottom. It measures 6.5" tall, 8" wide handle to spout.
Round in shape and very decorative on a white porcelain base, the decoration, in polychromy of iron red, underglaze blue and gold enamels, represents a lake landscape with boats under sail and a mountainous background in the background. Period: Meiji (1868-1912). Diameter: 31 cm.
An antique Gyosho Tansu (peddler's chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware. Top of chest has a recessed table top where the peddler displayed and demonstrated his wares for sale. Upper hinged door houses 5 drawers where wares were stored and record keeping supplies were kept. Bottom hinged door covers 3 drawers for additional wares.
