A charming matched pair of Qianlong export soup plates, with scalloped edges decorated with fleur-de-lis like border, and carefully enameled with floral sprigs in the Meissen fashion...
Yuan Dynasty ( 1278 - 1368 ) blue and white cup in a rare shape and decorated with an Chrysanthemum scroll. Jingdezhen ware.
Diameter 6,5 cm. H : 4,2 cm.
Condition : Slightly repaired, but there still is a bright ring tone when tapped.
A really nice Ming Chenghua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) Minyao ( peoplesware ) blue and white dish, decorated with 4 different kind of fishes among water plants at the outer side. The inner side decorated with a conch shell against a concentric wave pattern design, surrounded by a for Chenghua typical Lotus and other water plant decoration.
D : 12,9 cm.
Condition : On the inner side of the dish partly a slightly degraded glaze, and one old (easy to open) glue repair. No chip, no further crack.

Very Rare Japanese Jomon Period (13,000-300BC) Terracotta torso (broken off at waist) in the form of a female figure with a bird head. Overall incised decoration. Accompanied by a small terracotta disc found in the same grave lot. Figure: 4.5 x 4 inches, 11.5 x 10 cm; Disc: 2.25 x 1.5 inches, 5.75 x 4 cm. Very Good Condition.

A very impressing, large plate. The quality of the drawing on this well potted porcelain plate is really excellent. Please have a look at the enlargements to recognize the quality of the drawing which is rich in details and painted in an very nice, deep Cobalt blue.
Underglaze blue Kangxi Mark to the back of the plate, but most probably 19th. century ( "Kangxi revival" ) Diameter 40,4 cm. Condition : Perfect.
A small attractively decorated porcelain jardiniere and stand probably made in Jingdezhen, China circa 1770 - 1820 during the reign of either the Qianlong or Jiaqing emperor. Although this was a popular export shape during that period the traditional archaic style decoration suggests that this was possibly made as a scholar's item. Finelly potted as a bowl of deep rounded form, the rim cut into five lobed, covered all over in a golden celadon glaze, glaze base. 17 cm diameter, 7.5 height. No chips, cracks, or hairlines and free from restorations.

This bowl is very well-painted in overglaze enamels with the nine ripe peaches showing gradations of color from yellowish-green to deep rose-red on each. The peach leaves are enameled in two tones of green. Contrasting with this colorful pallet is the tree trunk which is well-rendered in tones of brownish grey. The bowl is covered overall in a clear glaze that stops evenly at the foot, exposing the fine white porcelain paste on the footring...
