A lovely antique hand-knotted wool Chinese Mongolian rug, with scene of a white cat seated on a structure of rocks, its head pointed towards the sky in observation of a nearby butterfly, with branches of blue and red flowers against a red ground. Japanese Meiji Period Gosho Ningyo of Jimmu, the First Emperor of Japan. This is a wonderful ningyo, in great bright condition. Every aspect is of the highest quality. He has a gorgeous face, beautifully rendered. He is wearing sumptuous silk brocades, stretched on a carved wood body (kimekomi). He holds a bow and arrows. There are arrows in the quiver at his back, and a sword at his side. He is presented on his original lacquered stand. Height: 8.5 inches, 21.5 cm.

Rare Thai monk's fan with hard wood handle. A fan made from dried palm leaves was put on top of a handle and used for closing monk's face while praying in ritual ceremony.

Antique Japanese bronze bowl in the form of a large, round lotus leaf. The bowl is raised on it's coiling lotus stem and another unfurled leaf. A tiny frog perches on the edge of the bowl.

A small famille verte dish from Chinese transitional period (early 17th century), it was probably made for the Japanese market. There is a "jade" character inside the double circles mark inside the foot rim. Condition: there are four tiny and shallow chips on the rim of the dish, and have been patched, please examine the photos for details. Good antique condition other than this. Diameter: 4-3/4".

Two prints placed under glass, representing two young women, one feeding her little pet, a rat and the other practicing Ikebana, composing a bouquet of irises which will be presented in the vase placed next to her. The hairstyle is typical of women drawn by Suzuki Harunobu, but also by other artists of this period. As it would seem that the Chinese characters simply describe the scenes represented and not the name of the artist, only specialists will be able to know who it is...

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Carl Thieme Dresden studio in the 1890s. It is 9 3/4 inches in diameter. The porcelain blank is reticulated around the 1 3/4 inch border. There are reserves containing 4 vignettes of lovers in garden landscapes. They alternate with the cut out floral pattern similar to the type Meissen used. The center of the plate has a large Watteau scene with couples in 18th century dress. The painting is done in fine detail and bright colors...

A Yuan/Ming Crackle-Glazed Celadon Dish. Diameter approximately 12.6 cm. The dish covered with bluish green glaze and unglaze at the center. A 0.5 cm hairline at the rim. Good condition.

A very rare early Ming 15th century blue and white large moon shape flask, rounded side with high mouth and unglazed base, flask decorated with under glaze blue of countinous flower scroll motif, similar Ming blue and flask has been found in middle east, arabic style flask found from middle east for countaining holy water.
Moon flask is in good condition with minor damage at the rim and asociate crack line covered / restored.

This is a Japanese antique Echigo jyofu Hemp Akita region. It is a Benihana(Safflower dyeing ) Katazome child Kyogen costume from the Edo period.It is a set of kataginu and hakama. Children's Kyogen costumes are very rare. There are a few light stains and a few very small holes. But overall, it's in very good condition. Recommended for your antique collection. A very beautiful schist head of a Bodhisattva, 2-4 Century AD, with soft, youthful features, wearing a diadem with rosettes. The hair is pulled up into an elaborate top knot, urna between the eyebrows. Acquired on the London (UK) Art Market prior to 1980. Mounted on a Museum Quality metal stand. Size of head alone: 12.5 cm. (5"), excluding stand. Very fine condition.

Antique, late 19th century Turkish Ottoman Islamic ceramic Kutahya vase, of baluster form rising to a flared conical neck with a frilled and lobed rim. Hand-painted under a rich, thick, clear glaze with floral vines and dots.

Kütahya was a very important ceramic center of the Ottomans, active from the 17th to the early 20th century with workshops making hand-painted ceramics for both domestic and public spheres...

The first of these molds depicts a Makara surrounded by floral swirls. It measures 3-1/4" in both height and width. The second shows an animal face or mask and measures 1-3/4" in both height and width. Rubberized impressions included for both.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by KPM or Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in the 1890s. The set is marked with the blue scepter underglaze and the red orb with cross overglaze indicating the porcelain and the painting took place at the factory. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The cup has a quatrefoil shape and the saucer has molded ridges that follow the contours of the cup...
