The glaze was in greasy-feel condition when time-enduring crackles were yielded.

This antique Islamic footed cosmetics makeup kohl jar dates back to the 11th-12th century (Medieval). It is made of bronze and comes from Khorassan. The jar is designed in the form of a small bottle, with a compressed body and a long-tapered neck. It is adorned with two incised rings and a wide flared lip and rests on four legs with bent feet. Rare 4.9cm/1.9in Thai green glazed stoneware bowl from the Sankampaeng kiln circa 15th/16th CE with two fish in the center and scalloped cavetto, there is well done repaired chip on the inner rim noted last enlargement. This is a classic and definitive piece for the Sankampaeng kiln as the incised/impressed fish motif is only found on ceramics from this Thai kiln. There are some blue flambé highlights in the center, probably accidental but quite attractive...

This is a Tang dynasty funerary sancai or tri-colour tea cup set. It has a tray with seven cups on it. All the items stand on a flat base. The tri-colour is green, beige and amber, both in long streak partially outside and inside of the tray and tea cup.

There is no repair or restoration, some abrasion and bubble burst. Some expected degradation, chips & minor losses as a consequence of long period of burial and subsequent cleaning...

Beautiful thick bronze hollow votive figure in the shape of Dainichi Nyorai sitting on a lotus base, former part of a kakebotoke. His head gear finely engraved with floral motives. Bronze with dark brown patina and traces of gilding. Kamakura period, 14th century.
