A Chinese silver gilt box set with two fine jade rings and decorated with semi precious stones and enamel details. The jades are of very pale hue and translucent whilst the gilt is in very good condition. Stamped " silver" to the base. Age: late Qing to early Republican period. Size: ten cm. high X 8 cm diameter. condition: very good, no restoration, no breaks.

Very Nice Pregnant Jalisco Figure, San Juanito Style. 8" x 4 3/8" x 3". CA. 200 B.C. to 500 A.D. Early type with coffee bean eyes, wearing ear tassels. Painted with a light brown slip and red skirt or pants. Small chip to nose and stabilized hairline crack in the crouch area, otherwise intact.

A Chinese bronze ting, after a Shang dynasty original, heavily cast and with nice malachite and red areas of patina, archaic inscription to the interior. 19 cms high. Song dynasty, circa 12th century. (one leg re-attached a long time ago).

This is the third piece of a group of three extremely rare, perfect and superb Yuan iron splashed pieces. An extremely rare Yuan Altar vase attached to a pierced stand, decorated with splashed iron brown spots and a Qingbai ( Yingqing ) glaze over a porcelain body. Yuan Dynasty 1279 - 1368. H: 13 cm. B: 6,4 cm. Condition: Perfect.

A beautiful framed work of art, Japanese silk embroidery panel of a pair of Japanese Chin puppies playing with a tasseled floral ball. The imagery is reminiscent of fu dogs, in which the ball represents rule over the world. Hand-embroidered in gorgeously stunning condition, with very high-end and tasteful framework. A Ming cast-iron figure of Vairocana, the Dharmakaya Buddha, the most important of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, the one from whom the other emanate from; his name means "luminous" or "embodiment of light”. He is sitting on a lotus throne, holding his hands in Abisheka Mudra (consecration gesture). On the back side there is a dedication: donated by the Li family. Ming Dynasty, 1368–1644. H. 27. Condition: Very good but with few casting mistakes on the back

Late Meiji - early Taisho (1910s) netsuke of Daikoku seated next to his mallet, and a rat climbing onto his shoulder. Daikoku is one of the 7 Gods of Good Fortune - that of abundance and of rice - and the rats are associated with him - where there is a lot of rice, there are rats. Very nicely carved, great smiling face, black ink highlights, beautifully depicted textile patterns, pleasant patina...

This petrified wood tang knife is from the four-corners area of the southwest. It is 3 1/4" long. It is from the Wallis-Thomas collection. The base of the tang has been snapped off anciently, but does not detract.

The snuff box is made with a mold in 2 parts. On the sides are two Buddhist lion heads in relief, their eyes are made by 2 small clay balls. stuck to the slip. The decoration is painted in underglaze cobalt blue, the design is vigorous and goes to the essential, it represents 2 dragons pursuing the sacred pearl in the sky, surrounded by clouds and sparks. Below is written in 4 Chinese characters the apocryphal mark of the Ming emperor Tcheng-Hoa...

Chinese antique Blanc de Chine figure of the warrior woman, Mulan. She is standing with one hand raised. She wears a wide rimmed hat and elaborate armor. The figure is delicately modeled in porcelain and finished with a clear glaze. The last two characters, of the the faint impressed seal on the back, read Yi Ren. Republic Period. Size: 9 1/2" high x 3 1/4" wide

Rare American coin silver figural punch ladle in its original case. Featuring a woman's figure at the top, a twist handle, and a embossed face on the bowl, this ladle is attributed to George Sharp. The case is leather and shows minor age related wear. The ladle is in excellent condition measuring 13.75 inches long x 3.5" across the bowl. Dates 1840-1860.
